A more intelligent approach would be to have the fastener forged with torque sensitive materials that emit a small current when the torque has been attained.

The knock sensor on a car is calibrated to emit @ 4 volts of current to the computer and retard timing if needed. The Masters could then charge $400.00 apiece for lugnuts, etc. This means more people engaging in porno to pay for them. Put everyone in gas ovens and you make no money.
