  • lol that so reminds me of "company of heroes" fierce battle over distances of 50 meters. thats really cool. especially the vehicles

  • hey i loved this fight...i was there and i wasnt far from the camera...i was wondering why they didnt do it this year....thanks again for posting

  • What tank is that? It looks like a modified Sherman.

  • @billace90 its an M4a4 sherman with a french 76mm high power main gun. it is also fitted with a fire simulator that runs on propane. I was one of the American forces at this event and my unit was set up next to the tankers.

  • ahh ok.

  • was that the whole reenactment or just a skirmish?

  • @2ndpanzergrenadier That was just a skirmish. The whole re-enactment was about 20 minutes long but unfortunately the memory card on my camera was full.

  • Great job guys.

  • next year im bringin my freshly restored stuart tank to this event!!!!

  • The battle was about to begin and a jewish lady flagged me down on my Indian and gave me hell about the swastika on the back rack. I was doing a Volkssturmn impression. I wish I saw her after the battle to see if she understood why we do what we do. You have to have Germans to have an authentic battle.Germans put their flag over the hood of captured vehicles so that they would not be straffed by their own aircraft when the german pilots saw the star. No hatred or disrespect intended! Tom C.

  • @tchiricos

    18th Volks Grenadeere, Memphis Tn.

Some people just don't get why we do what we do , it's to bad realy .

Us Germans never get any love .

  • lol at all the reenactments ive been to the americans have always won...but i do like the germans for their camo smocks lol, i think they're awesome :D

  • @JessesWarMovies

The only time we ever won was in Rockome Indiana .

Two battles and we took them both . But then again we also had a tiger with us =)

I'm not being political but people tend to forget the german army was at the time the best in the world .

  • lol wow you guys had a tiger!? here where i live theyve got a M3 Halftrack, a willys jeep or two, a german recon bike and stuff like that. its pretty cool but a sherman would be awesome! they also have full size replica spitfires, P51's and a corsair that all fly! they never fire the 50 cals on the vehicles though, they keep the vehicles behind the infantry and they hardly move lol =[ but yeah the allies always win probly cause the people would think the organisers suppirt the nazis lol

  • i was one of the re enforecements that came in on one of the jeeps

  • i was one of the aliied reenforcements from the 99th

  • damn i wish i could have been able to come i didnt have alot of ammo though. Used most at previous event, but had school senior stuff.

  • man looks like i missed an awsome event.. eh if they have it next year i will def be there

  • man i hate to be a stitch nazi , but i hate when reenactors just cassually strut accross the field like there not getting fired at

  • i can understand your frustration. however, it was brutally hot out last weekend, over 94 degrees. heat stroke was a very real danger, especially with all that gear. the guys did a great job considering the conditions.

  • yea well i mean its at every event it seems, yano even in winter man, but yea this lookied like a good event my friends with the 9th was there

  • yeah it was exaemly hot that weekend, somebody actually had to go to the hospital at the event from heat stroke

  • awesome video. i was the german that died @ the fence

  • SWEEEET!

  • Awesome video, I'm one of the two germans that made it the closest to the allied line

  • I'm the German Stug Commander. Good battle

  • Agreed, this video is good. My men were the ones in the foxholes and I was the Lt. commanding the ground infantry forces. Thank you for coming out and supporting our hobby!

  • Hey, great footage. I was the machine gunner on the american halftrack

  • You guys put on quite a spectacular show! Does your unit have a website? I'd love to learn more about the reenactment community.
