Yes, MAC's are VERY productive, if you've ever had one. I have one of each, Windows 7 on my home computer, and a MACBOOK for school. The MAC is the most amazing computer for working. It's so simple to construct documents on it, unlike Windows 7, which is better for games............
But your talking about your preference as though it's fact. Your preference is Windows 7 for games and MACs for work. That doesn't make it a fact. You can't argue 1+1=2, because it is a fact. You can argue that Windows 7 is good for games and that MACs are good for work because that's what's best for you. But you're saying it as though it applies to everyone. Still find it funny that a major selling point of a mac is that you can use Windows on it. Could install multiple operating systems on my pc if i wanted to, but Windows does everything i need.
Get the one you find fulfills your needs. You can't say one OS is better especially since Linux and Macs have programs that let you run Windows stuff on it such as games, and you can still run Linux and Mac stuff, whereas Windows just lets you run Windows stuff.

No! I don't support one over the other! I'm saying get the one that's best for you! For example, I like Linux because there are opensource equivalents to expensive programs, like KDENLive is opensource and free whereas Sony Vegas Pro is not. If I want to run a game I'll just run it in Wine or Playonlinux. I also don't need to purchase overclocking or benchmarking software because Linux has that. In other words, (for me) why pay to get a few things when you can freely get everything?

My 1100 dollar PC can run top of the the line games at 100+ frames per second, something a Mac of the same price range couldn't do if it's life depended on it, I know, I've done the research.

I personally own a Windows 7 PC, and a School Issued Mac laptop, I prefer the Windows 7 because of the games, and it's (in my opinion) easier to use.
The Macs are just a waste of time, unless all you care about is working, then get a PC.

It's not a question of being able to afford, it's called being smart with your money. Why would you spend thousands of dollars on something when you could spend 500-700 dollars on something capable of doing the same things + play games better?

Yeah, PC doesn't do the same thing as a Mac, considering all PCs are pieces of shit. Look at Windows 7, they openly said they kind of copied the look of Mac OS.
Anyway, it's not definitely not better at games. All Macs are high in without adding anything. For a PC to play video games well, it has to cost more than a Mac.

My 1100 dollar PC can run top of the the line games at 100+ frames per second, something a Mac of the same price range couldn't do if it's life depended on it, I know, I've done the research.

The bottom line is Macs are more user friendly and look better than PC's do, that however, is not worth the increase in price, when it comes to functionality they both pretty much do the same thing except PC's play games 5x better for 5x less the price. You would need a top of the line Mac to even handle Cryengine which most games these days use and you still wont run much over 30 FPS.
Not going to bother reading anything further you type, its pretty clear I am right and you are wrong, sorry.

First of all everyone should buy a PC. Macs are over priced pieces of shit. Most macs have only 2 GB of ram a small hard drive and a shitty processor. PC is 4 times cheaper and are better all around. The only stupid argument that is brought up in these commercials is that mac doesn't get viruses and PC users do, well all u have to do is buy Norton anti virus or any type and you will still save an ass load of money. MAC is only good for ascetics.
