i drove it today, and being a passat b6 owner i can say that it is a passat...
altho longer wheelbase and slightly more luxurious feel to it, but u can feel in the steering and the way it handles and so on, that underneath the skin it's about the same car...
but it has a bit more "confidence" in it's presence and the way it holds the road... love the size of the interior, lovely relaxation in the back seats,
(despite the much shorter legspace in the leather passat backseat u feel somewhat cooler tho? can't explain this, possibly has something to do with the nice armrest and doorhandle :D) and altho its about the same width as passat u feel a bit more free in it, more relaxed, also seats are not so tight, and checking prices in latvia... u get slightly more package by paying even around 1.5k eur less than you would buying a passat, + the awesome splitting boot,
put in a babycariiage with ease.. almost like u could stuff in two :) this really is the ideal solution for a family person who wants lots of space, slight luxury but a reasonable price tag, well done skoda.
