This film is better looking and conceptually truer today than it was in 1976 . Unlike it did in its day, the future world inside the dome looks worn down, outdated, and stagnating. It looks like a culture trapped in an anachronism, pre-programmed and old. Which is entirely true to the concept.

Yeah...You'll notice that even though this is presumably a slutty woman and this is a morally corrupt man, there's a certain amount of class in the way that they move and talk. They were not so far away from the society of the 40's and 50's, before everything started to fall apart (in real life). To the point where today, even actors can't recapture that kind of class and character.

I remember this movie very clearly. I am 46 and It was, and is still is, a good flick. Yes, the special effects are a little lame by today's standards, but they're still believable and almost accentuate the story. It is (by today's standards) an old fashioned sci-fi film but with a twist. Full of sexuality and somewhat psychedelic. Just a nostalgic journey.  The film is worth visiting for sure. Love those fire-spewing "sandman" pistols.
