de bruce at that time was apart of one a the families that were trying to discuss who would be king, while Wallace was going about with his rebellion forces getting the english out of scotland

It's a shame Andrew Murray, because he died at Stirling Bridge, has been more or less forgotten.

Yet he was seen as the real genius behind the planning of the battle of Stirling Bridge.

Who knows, maybe if he'd lived, we'd have won Falkirk as well and history might have taken a new turn.

Not at all. Blind Harry wrote his poems centuries after Wallace lived. Many of Harry's stories are suspect.

Andrew murry deserves a statue for his role in this war .
