  • why dont they have basket tosses or cheers?

  • @cheerismylife111 Basket tosses are not a part of the score sheet and they do have a cheer, that goes right through part of the stunt sequence

  • They should make a bring it on with Northgate and Johns Creek

  • You guys were amazing! congrats (:

  • Northgate definitely deserved this state title! A practically flawless routine with the usual Northgate amazing stunting and great tumbling. I just would have assumed that a team with so much stunting ability could have executed real full-ups when teams that were not as trained in stunting in this same division did real full-ups even though they score the same not matter what kind of full up it is. But congrats on the win, amazing routine and very talented girls AS USUAL!

  • @thegirlygirlxx3 The risk was not worth the reward :) They could hit them, but never as clean as the fake so why not do the fake if it scores the same :)

  • @kobenic I understand that, I'm just saying in the future I think the judges should learn about faking all kinds of stunts/tumbling (like hiding people in tumbling) and score the real things higher because of the risk of doing them!

  • FAVORITE ROUTINE EVER. <3<3

  • they got some ugly fulls

  • @y0itsj0nny Well I guess it's a good thing they have really pretty Rings to make up for it :)

  • @kobenic what are rings?

  • @tumbletumbletumble01 I hope your being sarcastic but if you aren't it's the 5 consecutive State Rings that they are wearing :)

  • @kobenic oh lol I didn't know that

  • , levels and skills) and alot well danced. Johns creek completely beat them in tumbling and stunt difficulty no doubt, but overall Northgate beat them in stunt execution. People need to realize, while one routine ( johns creek) may look more impressive to some one ( Because of there amazing tumbling) another team rightfully deserved first because of the technicalities (Execution and Hitting every part of the score sheet). AND THAT... is the truth ;)

  • Here how people look at it. Most people think tumbling is all that really matters in high school cheer, it is extremely impressive and a large part of the score sheet, but its not everything. So you may look at Johns Creek and be more impressed because obviously you can't deny they have more tumbling, but Northgate hit every part of the score sheet. If you take a look at Northgate, There jumps are cleaner and more well executed, there dance is leaps and miles harder ( transition changesCONTINUED

  • @lemonsauna98 you obviously have no idea about ghsa cheerleading. 4a is the most competitive division in the entire state.. Have you even looked at a single 5a team?

  • im from uca, the universal cheerleaders association and these girls weregreat but i do have to say johns creek was greater!

  • @cheerleadingexpert1 Not to be rude but if your an "expert" take a look at the High School score sheet and then maybe you will understand. This is a High School Competition NOT All-Stars. There is a HUGE difference between the 2. Northgate maxed out EVERY section of the score sheet as well as performed at the highest level. If they were competing All-Stars with these routines then yes they would have beat them, but again this is High School.

  • They should of been in 5A they actuall would've had competetion. cheaters

  • love the friggin dance ! congrats !

  • Great job Northgate. You girls did well. I loved the pyramid and that dance was fierce. Congrats on #5(in row). You all are beast especially the strong chick single basing.

  • Thank you so much @ jskrieger that is so nice of you to say. I will tell you that I know for a fact that Northgate completely respects Johns Creek and they are ALWAYS rooting for them. It's so great to see teams be competitive with each other yet supportive at the same time. Johns Creek was AMAZING and I can't wait to see what they bring next year :)

  • You guys are AWESOME stunters. I cheered for jc the first year the school opened and I remember how annoying it was to read the comments from columbus girls and fans on our state video saying we didn't deserve to win. I know JC greatly respects you and your hardwork. JC and NG have raised the bar in GHSA cheerleading and both teams deserve the utmost respect from the cheerleading world. congrats yall

  • I hope everyone realizes that commenting on these videos will NOT change the outcome of Saturday's results. Do NOT take away any teams hard work and dedication because you simply believe that someone else should of won. That is rude and uncalled for. Special shout out to all the cheerleaders of all of the GHSA schools for remaining CLASSY about the outcome and supporting everyone, no matter the rank the judges gave them.

  • CINGRATS!! That was great :)

  • Obsessed with the single based stunts and the dance!! CONGRATULATIONS NORTHGATE! :-)

  • Way to Go GIRLS! Still holdin' it down! GO Vikings!

  • They clearly have more difficultly then John's Creek, but both were awesome routines. I wish we had this cheerleading in New York. GREAT JOB!

  • lol @ easy routine

  • northgate is the ace of ghsa. congrats happy hooper on using easier routines w faked skills to win titles. sucks that difficulty and creativity arent awarded, especially in ga high school.

johns creek, even though they had one weird routine, they dominated in skill and talent and more than deserved the title of state champs.

  • @madooger I call it smart choreography and maxing out the scoresheet. I think its safe to assume that if "difficulty and creativity" were rewarded that NG would have a routine that would max out that scoresheet as well. The coaching battle is not only what you help your athletes do on the floor but the being equally prepared by studying and knowing the scoresheet and what each system looks for in a routine.

Bottom line? Max out your scoresheet, "easy" routine or not - CLEAN WINS!

  • @madooger EASY ROUTINE?!?!?!?! you're an idiot!

  • Great routine! Solid skills!! Keep on rockin ladies!!

  • Really tired of people saying NG didn't deserve it and JC did. You are WRONG. Northgate did EXACTLY on the scoresheet what you needed to win. It didn't matter if you did half-half full ups or real spinning full ups... they both scored the same... so when Johns creek did real ones and were shaky on the whole stunt and had bad timing... Northgate totally deserved to win. Same with tumbling numbers Northgate stuck to what they needed and nothing more. Jumps and dance were WAY better too! Congrats!

  • Amazing. Cleanest routine I saw at state. Rightful win over John's Creek. There's was amazing too, but Northgate just killed it!

  • WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENDS!!!!!! SO VERY PROUD OF OUR VICE GIRLS & OUR INCREDIBLE COACH!! CONGRATULATIONS TO A FABULOUS GROUP OF DEDICATED YOUNG LADIES! YOU DID IT!! 5 IN A ROW!!

  • AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!! Congrats Northgate on #5!!

  • Congrats Northgate on a well DESERVED win. You girls left your hearts on the floor. Sarah Frazier is a pure genius and there is no one who knows how to work a score sheet better than her. Way to represent Northgate with pride and class.

  • I think Northgate looked GREAT! They really did...but John's Creek was still better.

  • Sorry, this is not first place worthy. I am extremely disappointed in the judges. Anyways, congratulations Northgate. Five-time state champs!
