No it's actually prof. physics with R3's. All the ''Suzuka vids'' are from the GT5p Spec 1japanese version, where it was possible to drive with R3's in time attack.

This game is better than Forza 2 simply because of the superior replay system.

Some think GT5 and its predecessors, are real racing simulators, which they are not (they are arcade racers). I think forza is better because it has more realistic handling. But for some real racing simulation I think GTR, GTR2, rFactor, Live for Speed and GT Legends, are all far better racing simulators than the GT series. The Gran Turismo serie does not have realistic handling characteristics and is way to easy. Nonetheless, I have played previous versions of GT for hours on end.

I dont give a shit where you have been, what car you have and how much money you got. Anybody saying that you can rev a car into the rev limiter (even the escudo pikes peak version with 1700HP), let go of the clutch, and still get of the line properly is an idiot. I dont believe for one second that you have any racing experience and certainly not in a crappy nissan. Go drive a porsche 911 on Zandvoort, rev it up and dump the clutch, and you will be off into the guard rail.

I disagree with everything u think. Forza has more realistic handling? BS. THAT is the arcade racing game. LFS included in real simulation? Have u tried crashing into those red and white barriers? Up flies ur car end over end ten times. Realistic simulation my ass. GT5 Way too easy? Come back after you have even ATTEMPTED to drive in pro physics without driving aids.

Forza is indeed an arcade game, but nonetheless has more realistic handling than the GT series. You are not talking about the simulation of LFS, but about the physics model. The driving itself surely is more realistic than the GT series. And the same goes for the other simulations I mentioned. Moreover I have driven ALL GT games for many many hours.

well IMO the LFS cars steer too loosely if you know what I mean and GT5 feels more weighted when driving (cars shouldn't drive like feathers) which I personally think is realistic. Forza well...I think it's similar to GT5 in terms of driving. But GT5 still has the best graphics (off topic) which makes it more realistic overall. Just my honest opinion, which one of those games do u play anyway?

I (have) play(ed) all Gran Turismo games on PS. rFactor, Race '07, Live for Speed, GTR, GTR2 on PC and Forza2 on Xbox 360. They are all nice, but my favorite is GTR2. Btw, you can download a demo of all games for free. Race 07 is nice as well i think.

More realistic handling simulation? EVERY car in Forza, accept the top flight Le Mans cars, feel heavy and non-responsive, yet at the same time floaty. I don't know when the last time was that you went for a proper drive, but 'floaty' is not a word I would like to see anywhere near 'realistic'.

All GT cars feel so much more planted. You feel as if YOU'RE the one in control, and that if you come off the circuit, you KNOW it was your fault for pushing too hard. That is what I call realistic.

I understand what you are saying. I agree it seems like it would help with the realism. go onto the PS store, download Gran Turismo HD for free. assigne a button to look left, or right, and use it while doing a lap to see the apex, and try to keep the car in line. I had thought the same thing untill i made the camera move, and it didnt work out well.

Yeah i know :D. i got a playseat with the DFP from someone, but i'm planning to buy the g25 after the release of gt5.

dunno the difference between real and gt5 m3 handling,never driven a m3 e92, but the car feels like a bmw, solid. A little bit understeer in the beginning 'to know you're there' and then when you get on the throttle oversteer.
