I'm pretty certain that you could do this on a smaller scale. Why do you need to buy 62 bottles of laundry detergent? If I couponed like this, I would shop for everyone I knew and still have a lot left over to donate. There wouldn't be a stockpile.
the lady with 7 kids shouldn't try to save for college. the schools actually punish you for being frugal by making you pay the full tuition. if she's poor, her kids will all get to go for free.
