  • @wandererlain I disagree, I think the heart being pulled from his body represents life and love and the demons repulsion of both. Obviously used here to shock the audience and show us he is no longer human.

  • You people have it all wrong. It's symbolic. Who cares about the logical implications. Forget logic and lose yourself in the unreality.

The heart pulled out of the chest, for me, is a symbol of lust. His penis. Hence, the ecstatic music and Evan's "drive". Don't you "see"?

"If there's a SPOT like that you can bet he put his finger on it" Another example.

    All sexual symbolism.

  • @wandererlain ...and you are stoned

  • @Lychaon87 So were the writers!

  • @wandererlain Maybe you just had penis on the brain when you thought of that...

  • @Disgustingandnasty You calling me a dickhead lol

  • @wandererlain Dickhead? Sounds redundant.

  • Director: "We need characters and quick! Go outside and find the most cartoonish people you can find, old people who are yelling and some biker kids and just throw them at the camera, i forgot to add character development earlier in the movie! DO IT NOW OR WE'RE FUCKED!!!"

  • HOW THE FUCK DID THOSE COPS DO THAT! TRACED THE CALL MY ARSE!

  • ha no need to panic,....its only some 'devil goat' at the window.....lol, seriously that scene freaked me out for a second.

  • 2:39 best scene ever!

  • one thing I don't get: the teutonic knights and the beginning scene and so forth all took place in Europe...this seems to be the states. Were the wops that made this secretly mormons or something?

  • @ThornUvDaath777 um no. The whole film clearly takes place in europe. Most likely italy.

  • @johntrevy It's supposed to be in Germany(teutonic order=german order) but since Argento didn't got the permission to shoot in St.Laurenz he didn't seem to emphasize this very much. The church seen is in Budapest btw. The majority of the other scenes are most likely shot in locations in Italy(budget logic).

    Alright enough with film trivia.

  • @ThornUvDaath777 congratulation man you managed to put a racist word ( wops ) a random religion ( mormons) and mistake the likes of your own country in just one sentence so choose a category that fit you in:

    a) Bigot

    b) Racist

    c) Redneck

  • the police must have teleporters

  • this chit is fucking ill

  • this is brilliant euro horror! micheal soavi is surely Argento's only protegee'!:)

  • @StathisQauid Very true, man. Soavi is one Argento's best friends. And by the way, Lamberto Bava (director of DEMONI 1 & 2, which Argento also produced & co-wrote) was one Argento's best friends, too. Still, this is the 3rd DEMONI cahpter in the EMONI trilogy. Love this film, best one since DEMONI.

  • @tapesan09 you know on IMDB it says that La Chiesa is the third Demons film, and the film la setta (the sect) is considered the fourth, however, for the life of me i cant find it anywhere :( its good to know im not the only one with a love for italian horrors :) x

  • @tapesan09 Definitely the best movie since DEMONI/DEMONS. DEMONS 2 was OK but just a total rehash. This film has some truly original ideas.
