I remember this on Baltimore TV in the 1960s.

Back in the 50s one of most ghastly tv commercials on was for Carter's Little Liver Pills, produced by the Ted Bates agency. This spot had primitive graphics and a main title: The Miracle of Your Liver Bile." Freberg called Rosser Reeves, the chairman of Ted Bates, "the dean of the gastrointestinal school of advertising."
