You can get rip-offs though, but no soldier would EVER wear one. So I highly doubt these guys are US. However, I wouldnt be surprised if we actually were there. @araprivet Sebastopol was under siege mostly by romanians under command of german generals. Germany didn't care about allied forces, they simply used them as a shield. Either way, the war was won by Soviet Union by twice more casualties than german army. Russia had it's victories against Ottoman empire, but also loses. The main goal that was set by russians wasn't accomplished, so that makes them losers. You know what, send my all wars and battles that Russia fought with casultie info.

@R3dZoD1aC You only see Russia through its Soviet past, but not entire russian history. Basically you're looking at Russia from its 74 years of communism out of 1100 years of russian history. And talking about fighting against weaker countries, has US ever fought against a stronger country BY ITSELF? Russia has numerous times, the most profound was during WWII where 87%-92% of german military casualties were suffered on the eastern front. And Germany WAS militarily stronger than Russia then.

@R3dZoD1aC Ever heard about the Battle for Hill 3234, during Soviet war in Afghanistan where 39 Soviet VDV fought against and repelled 500 mujahedeen fighters. VDV losses were 6 and mujahedeen were 200. When was the last time your precious USMC had such a stat in a single battle that lasted 24 hours? BTW, at that time Soviet military was heading towards a quality army instead of the Stalinist tactics of numerical might like during WWII, but you know what happened. Thats all I wanted to say.

@siz232 Russian 58th Army and Russian Airborne Troops, total around 50 000 soldiers + two allied regions. Not to mention for the first time Russia sent it's professional and well equipped soldiers. What i've said about corruption in the russian military is the fact. More than 90% of all battles that russia fought were simply based on numbers. Look at Fin-Soviet war, finnish soldiers didn't even had weapons nor men power, still they stood the ground several times!

@siz232 What Russia did is wonderful, but don't forget. Georgia is small, too small in all aspects to face a huge powerful country with a population over 100m. Georgia is one of those US's condoms, supplied with weapons and trained. Georgian soldiers stood for their country, knowing how strong their enemy is... it's something that russian soldiers forgot.
