To all the haters: NSYNC was my favourite band when I was a kid (still love them), and Boston is my fav band now. I have to say this is a really good cover of the song. The harmonies are amazing, and cover is a cover, when people add their own style to it. Even if you don't like it, you should respect them a little bit. I don't like the original of this at all...too loud and fast. I can't absorb the lyrics. I guess I'm not into that harsh rock sound. But I absolutely love this. Very deep and soulful sound, and the harmonies are absolutely flawless and beautiful. It's more in my wheelhouse. Different strokes. btw, and although this has very minimalist production, it is not acapella. Nsync has only recorded two acapella songs on their albums, O Holy Night and I Thought She Knew.

I agree with Supermonkey22. The point of a cover isn't to re-do something, it's to put your own creative spin on it. So from that perspective, this version was very well done. And one can't expect a pop band to remake a rock song /exactly/ as it was originally recorded. 'N Sync's strong point is their harmonies, so I'm glad the chose to cover this song a capella.
