Great speach, but in one thing Olbermann was wrong:

He did OK until he fell into the race baiting trap of blaming China.

This is NOT about China. This is NOT about forcing our "values" and "rights" on China. This is about our very own double standards, and our refusal to look ourselves in the mirror.

Ask yourself this, why is there no MSM coverage of the US Human Rights record review in the UN last Friday?

Answer: Rightests abhor the idea that any should question the US and leftists use Human righta as pretext to "justify" our wars.

With that said, why isn't MSNBC leniant on this policy when there's no secret that MSNBC's Keith Olbermann is left-leaning! I think there may be a bigger picture here. I've been applauding GE, the owner of NBC for allowing Mr. Olbermann to have his own voice when he spoke out harshly against Citizens United. Could there be something there? Mr. Olbermann was the most outspoken, from what I saw, against this SCOTUS decision, and my theory is that it just got a little too uncomfortable for GE!

I worked as a local news editor for 7 years (WFAA-Dallas, WFLA-Tampa, WTVJ-Miami) and was strictly prohibited from acting in any way politically other than voting. With that in mind, I hope America starts to realize that the fact that Fox donates to candidates they believe in blantantly PROVES that Fox is a propaganda machine under the guise of "Fair and Balanced News". Reminds me of Orwell's "doublespeak" in 1984.

@fwalker94 Olbermann is not anti-corporation. He's employed by a large corporation. And kudos to that large corporation, General Electric, which owns NBC, for allowing Olbermann to speak against oppressive, overbearing powers of corporations.
