Well, DoW2 is really big on cover, so Necrons would be odd since they traditionally don't use cover. It'd be like having an army of Warbosses; slow-moving units that simply brush cover aside as they walk through it. All the cover would get destroyed, and they'd have the advantage.

Tau, since they focus on extreme range, would probably just be OP in smaller maps, but I guess you could probably Just LoS them.

IG was probably just the most requested.

their defence sucks, melee sucks, building and units are expensive as fuck they dont even have turrets like all the other races, and they cant have many units at all if you whant to use those heavy weapons team to use as turrets
