we all need to step back, and understand that the media has a responsibility to promote calm over panic. Of course how they do that, and to what effect is another matter.
They don't talk about worst case scenarios because they don't want people to panic. the problem is when the worst case scenarios then happen. at that point there are two forces promoting panick...the actual events, and the realization that the media is lying.
I think is important to remind everyone to remain calm, and remind other to remain calm. do the appropriate research take the appropriate precautionary measures, but do it calmly.
