massively outweighs any magazine or award show

you would never find a white woman that would be willing to become a black woman if she had a chance

Many of the black you see at events like this are the same ones out there complaining about racism and inequality for blacks while holding and supporting racist events and organizations like the Essence awards, Miss Black America, the United Negro College Fund, etc. I'd love to see Denzel or Danny Glover come out and say "No, the Essence awards are racist and I won't take part in that!" That makes them hypocrites in every sense of the word.
