I think you are a little hard on yourself in the description. Those charcoal stars are among the most beautiful I have ever seen! Great job, did you use pine charcoal by any chance?
I thought it was a good shell. I built one (a five inch charcoal star) that looked just like it last December. Mine went 500ft and I used 90g of 2Fa for the lift. Good Job!

Burst: BP on rice grains + some weak flash bag.
It was aprox. 3 times more lift than commonly used (usually 10-12 % of shell weight).
