i see you every where... and the reason its not used is because it wastes time pausing it. and after a certain speed mario freezes and the amount of bljs already used is maxed before he freezes

I would think it would be possible to somehow run up the hill next to the island and launch yourself toward the star.

@andrewg1990 The hill would have to first extend all the way up to the height of the island for that to be possible, which it does not.

Does the slide down the hill make a difference? You still have to wait for the platform to cycle down so you can BLJ it.

Unless it lets you jump on the platform before the one you'd normally jump on.
