I'd recommend you to get it during the event when you meet Chocobo. Near the Chocobo's Forest there's a little forest near it where you'll get Mandragoras.

@Daibron Woop de doo! FF end bosses are notoriously easy to beat if you don't rush the games. I completed 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 & 13's end bosses all on the first attempt. Bonus bosses = not so easy.

Some would disagree, but I find Quina quite useless aside from Angel Snack, which is essential for fighting Ozma.

Wait, you only did ~7k damage? But it's so easy to get Freya hitting 9999's. All you gotta do is kill a few dragons, and bam, maxed damage every hit. No status ailments can affect it either - if Freya's alive, she can hit 9999's. That's why she's such a kickass party member.

As I recall, I trained against grand dragons to fight Ozma, then walked through memoria because dragon's crest did 9999 every time. That really took the fun out of the final sequence of battles.

bad level to beat necron,you beat he easily with lvl 99, my zidane,quina,steiner and amarant all have lvl 99 and regen and auto potion abilyt,my frog drop of quina have 9999 of damage,hazard of steiner is 9999, and pysichal zidane and amarant attacks have 7000-9999 damage,very easy to me..or i use only pysichal steiner attack with excallibur 1

its not really a spell. its an ability that is automatically cast on her when the battle starts.

you can learn it with the "Rebirth Ring" which you get in Disc 3 (i think)

One thing that most FF9 players have to remember when fighting Necron for the first time--His Grand Cross spell can quickly kill a party member, so it would be wise to bring some Phoenix Downs and at least one Elixer into battle if you're in the stiuation JrMadness was in that video.

First of all remember this, you have to defeat Lich in Memoria in less of 12 hours in the playgame in order to get the excalibur... well my tip is this, always save your states, and practice in buy the items faster, buy the things that you need and dun waste money in another useless craps, have to Zidane with Flee and try to ignore the chests with useless items, and pick up the items that would help you, the most important item that you have to get is Rebirth Ring that you can get it in Treno CT

Man... I wish I had beaten Necron, cause the first and only time I tried I died... Then out of sheer laziness I never tried it again... Would you believe that he turned my WHOLE party into zombie and then KO'd me... I had auto life, but it does nothing when your party is all zombified... I was still zombie when KO'd so I couldn't revive... Like WTF

i'll do a little suggest, always have to any member for use Magic Tag (that takes off the zombie status) Zombie status effects are:

-if someone use heal when you are in zombie status, you'll get dmg inteased of receive hp

-if the member with zombie status is dead you cant revive him with phoenix down or another reviving power, you'll have to use a magic tag and then you can revive it

well there is a change that you can't receive the zombie status. alwyas have all the anti status abilities.

check the description box, acutally my Zidane's speed is 39 and he does 9999, well here im using alot of equip that give speed, liek running boots, Ninja Gear, Thief Hat, Thief Gloves, Orichalcon, etc

be sure of always steal everytime

the damage depents of the succeful steals * Zidane speed/2

E.g: if Zidane's speed is 30, you must steal at least 775 times to get 9999 dmg
