Biden I feel is going to lay out what the plan of attack is. let Obama be the guy out there telling us what good stuff he can do and let Biden and the other out there just rip into McCain. Hillary did it a little last night, she opened up a little hole that I hope Bill and Biden just rip all the way open and give us the red meet we need to go out there and stop McBush. Keep in mind we want 4 more months not 4 more year.
it may not be a tank but the guns will be going off big time. Bill will be up first and will set the platform for Biden to come out and just lay out the whole plan to go after McCain. Biden is just what Obama needs. Someone to go out and just hit and hit and hit McCain. The VP debate is going to he a hell of a lot of fun. I really hope that McCain picks Romney, Biden will eat him alive.
Biden is as hawkish as any neocon including McCain. That will certainly come out. I am voting third party and don't have a dog in this fight but Obama's foreign policy adviser Brzenski, and his vice president are hard core hawks and I think it is going to hurt him.
Biden is hawkish but he will he where we really need to be. We need to finish this war that started on 911 and that Bush as just kinda left. Biden also know most of the leaders of the world, she knows how to get things done. Keep in mind he is the VP and will not do anything with out direction from Obama. Obama is really not all that hawkis. He wants to talk things out and working things out before doing that McCain would do and just take are guy and put them into another useless war
That is what he is saying but look into Zbiegnew Brzenzski. Sometime called the original neocon he is responsible for some of the greatest foreign policy blunders of the last 40 years. Famous for trying to convince the democrat party to abandon the peace movement and embrace the hawkishnes of the Repuplicans.Brzenzski thinks we should abandon the middle east and go after the oil and gas in the former provinces of the USSR ( his book The Grand Chessboard 97).
what we need to do is just get off oil all the way. Its do able with the tech we have now. We can start today by phasing out gas engines and going to diesel and electric. We can make are own fule and get farmers back to work. We can get factorys up and running makeing the new green energey. Yes there will be a lot of work but McCain will leave us right where we are now. We cant stand 4 more years and think we can dig are way out
Can't fault anyone for wishing anyone but McCain gets elected but I am 50 years old and I can't bring myself to vote for the lesser of 2 evils even one more time.
Its not about the lesser of 2 evils. Its more about getting us on the right road. Yea I dont like all of what Obama and Biden have to bring to the table but under Obama He will push for tax cuts for guys like me, he will work on getting health care for guys like me, he will get us out of Iraq and fight the real war that bush left behind. We can start to get on the right road. Give him four years and lets see where we go, or we can keep on the road we are now and you see how well that has worked
I believe he will push for tax cuts and affordable health care but he can't sign any bill into law that is not sent to him and it will be a miracle if the insurance lobby does not buy off everyone needed to vote for that as they always have. Best case scenario something like the medicare drug plan that actually increases their profits.
Obama is not in the pockets of the lobbyist like McCain is. Under Obama you will not see the lobbyist in the room writing the bill like you would see under McCain and you did see under Bush. Yes it will be hard and yea it will not be 100% what we want but it on the road to the right idea. After we get it started then we can go back and push for it to be better, to get it right. Under McCain we will get nothing but more tax cuts for the rich, more way and things as they are now
Like I said I don't blame anyone for supporting Obama McCain is a nightmare and yes I think Obama will try hard but he will need the house and senate to get anything done and I don't have any faith in them because they have a long history of representing the people who paid to get them elected instead of the people who voted to get them elected.
with the DNC in contorl of both the house and the senate you would see a lot of stuff happen with Obama in the white house. The top people in both the house and the senate are for Obama and will be with him and work with him to make stuff happen. If McCain was to get in you will see the house and senate act just like they are now and nothing will get done. Under Obama we will see change and with McCain more of the same. We need to try something new
Mind if I pm you with a link to a site where you can enter your zip code and get the total amount of money donated to your law makers from oil companies and their percentage of voting for oil companies?
I have seen what you are talking about and yea Obama is getting moeny from oil, but you need to see where its comeing from. Its not really comeing from the top, not from the people who own big oil, but from the workers. The Mom sitting at her desk trying to see that her kids get to school and are safe. The Dad who want to see his kid home from the war. The wife who hope that we get health care so they dont go bankrupted. This is the truth. Also look at the money comeing from solders as well
not a shock, there are two oil men in the white house now and if McCain gets in he will keep most of the people bush has around them and give big oil another $4bil in tax cuts. I dont know about you but I am working my ass off to make ends meet and I dont have health care. I need someone in the white house who will be more on my side then Bush and McCain have been. Even if Obama is not 100% the best he will do a hell of a lot better then McCain will on getting us going the right way
What I am getting at is when the oilmen are out of office these companies can expect the same votes as long as they fund campaigns. This is the challenge that Obama faces. The insurance lobby to the best of my knowledge has never lost a fight at the national or even state level.
It will be a fight but we need to do all we can to help. Your in texis right, right now McCain is up by 7 but Obama is on his way up. I dont think that Obama will win the state but we can make McCain put a lot of money and time into the state and help Obama in other states. I am in Cal and this is a safe Obama state, he is up by 18 here but I still and out here on the web trying to make people see what is really at stake her. We need to go a new way or go deeper in the truble we are now
I hope Obama beats McCain myself I am just trying to be realistic about what kind of changes he can actually bring when he needs the help of representatives and senators who are well paid by corporate money to make sure nothing changes.

Have you seen Biden's interview with Israeli TV? I think he will be showing up tonight in an Israeli tank.
