Totally agree, Portage should have won d-6 last year but I guess going from playing A teams all year then having to play a school like double the size would be tough. McCort has a great team no doubt but they should be playing AA where they won 2 straight D-6 titles.

Overall, I would have to say you made the wrong choice and I hope that Andrew Hawkins gets an opportunity with another team after the media exposure he received on 4th and long.
Andrew Hawkins is WAY BETTER than Jesse Holley. He can tackle, block, return punts, play gunner, and he plays very physical for his size, offers run after the catch ability, runs crisp routes, can beat press coverage and presents an immediate asset as a special teams player. Whereas, Holley can go up for the ball and present more of a threat in the vertical passing game. Holley's catching ability is average at best and he is not as proficient of a special teams player as Hawkins.
Andrew, keep your head up boy, you are a true player and don't let 4th and long set you back. I was going for you every step of the way and still is. Hopefully I will turn on my TV and see Andrew Hawkins in the Pros.

Hawkins is a good player but to be quite honest he wouldnt have been able to do any of this in the NFL for three reasons.
1: Because of his size
2: This is a Highschool tape not a college tape so the NFL really will not have interest in this because it is HIGHSCHOOL.
3: Unless he is another Maurice Jones Drew he will be just like Malcom Kelly.....a prospect gone bad

I'm disgusted. The Cowboys passed this great talent up for a basketball player with a fuckin' football jersey! What a fuckin' joke and a waste of my Monday nights. Hawkins, I hope the Cowboys end up signing you in the end, and if they don't, (i'm the 1st to say it) burn their ass and make them realize their mistake. And this is coming from a die hard Cowboy. Hawkins= a small player with a big hear, and a big game! Keep workin' bro, you'll get what you deserve when God says it's the right time.

After the first episode I saw this kid as the favorite. If he doesn't win its cuz they're discriminating his height. Kid is strong for a small dude. I could see this kid actually starting. At least taking Kick returns.

if he were 4 or 5 inches taller he'd have that jersey. thats the only possible reason y he didn't win. cuz, let's face it, from the beginning they knew the only way they'd get on the field was special teams. Hawkins was the best special teams player plain and simple. He returned a punt for a TD with no blockers and he was the fastest one there.

dooode, this guy is gunna make it in2 the 80 man roster and MAYBE be the #5 receiver! he has GREAT ATTITUDE, GREAT WORK ETHIC, RAW SPEED, AWESOME ROUTE RUNNING, and best of all, HE'S ONLY 5'7"!!! i dunno if u guyz saw the browns mini camp tape, but hawkins was faking out a lot of the DB's over there. i think he'll be THE NEXT TERRY GLENN (but a lil faster)! jus watch and c...wait a couple of more years...or maybe just 1 year. he'll be playmaker!!! watch him during preseason!

ya but im fucking pissed that "Speedy" lost, it wasn't even a fair challenge. Speedy had to actually catch the ball, but Ahmad just had to make him miss, or tackle him before he makes a TD.

for those of you who watch 4th and long this kid seems to be small but at the same time has a great talent. amazing speed, good hands.. he's tough for a small guy never gives up has a great attitude. i really hope he makes the team i dont know if he'll ever be anything you never know.
