My grandson just got diagnosed with this today... & tomorrow morning he is supposed to undergo the Gamma treatment. He is 7 ... 3 weeks ago he won a chess tournament... last week he came home from school with what my daughter thought was the flu- she took him to the hospital & the attending doctor said he had Scarlett Fever..... 3 days later no change in his temp & his tongue turned red plus his fingers started scaling... she took him in again & now I'm locating info RE: Kawasaki Disease.
my only brother had this when he was just 2 months old. He almost died on the way to a more extensive hospital.Good thing my mum had a maternal instinct to pinch him to keep him crying and breathing. He's now turning 12 and I'm really thankful for the doctors who helped treating him..

I know how you feel; i had very late treatment of it; i servived by a very small percent and I am just as angry as you pissing around thinking it's something to joke about. Theres is a 37% percent chance i will suffer an early heart attack and has crippled my motabolism by the improper medication givven to me when they thought it was something else...

the youngest son of my sister was diagnosed with kawasakie desease....where this desease come from? and how to prevent it? is it dangerous? pls i need your help.
i had it when i was 3 i was 3rd case in american if it goes unnoticed or treated 14days or so respiratory and heart problems occur in late teen hood i have irregular heart beat and some times breathing restriction there is no cure other then i read about hey electro shock ur heart and restart it basicaly in its original pattern of beating i heard it comes from cleaning chemicals in the carpet

(Well, I shouldn't say that.. he was the 3rd case the DOCTORS ever heard of in the U.S.). But anyway, I had it also at 12 yrs old. It's so interesting because not only did I have, but like I said, my brother had it as well. He was 2. I am just happy and thank God that we are both alive today. I'm 32 and my brothers 34 today..
