  • Greatest Band in History HANDS DOWN!!!!

  • thankyou God for giving us the greatest in music :)

  • LOL whoo, Paul give John a chance to sing bro XD

  • Hey guys why can't we just like modern music and this? Heh? Is it so wrong of me to like The Beatles a lot and then like Deadmau5?

  • @GruntBurrito Honestly I wish there was music like this nowadays...technology kinda ruined music :/

  • @NoahStacksCups Nothing can ever match them but we've had some great bands in the last 20 years. Oasis, The Libertines, The White Stripes. Great music still exists but it rarely gets radio play.

  • @thecrossfirecasualty Yeah I agree! But yeah they aren't as popular as that modern pop.

  • WHY WAS`N I BORN IN 40-50?! =(

  • @Grumberf not really. look at artsts in the charts now. have apsolutly no musical talent watsoever. like jessie j, beiber, rihanna lady gaga n-dubz....... etc.....

  • If this was the biggest light entertainment show in the world in 1964 - wouldn't one expect the production staff to check if all the microphones were working properly before the show started?

  • i miss this song XD

  • Drop a Grenade In the Public Im tired of these girls ruin music!

  • Note even the 'older' folks were rockin' lol

  • I like this version much better than the studio version. The way they sing the chorus sounds much better here.

  • my fucking good the beatles aaaaa

  • I'm so jealous of those girls in the audience :P

  • Dear God, Blease bring back George Harrison, and John Lennon for us. We'll send you Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber in return! Thankyou! :) ~Beatles Fans

  • THIS SOUNDS LIKE SHIT

  • man thisSSSSSSSOI SUCKS.. IT SOUNDS FUCKING STUPID

  • George was just recovering from the flu, and made it for the show. Thats why he looks a bit out of it here.

  • Paul is a little flat at 1:40, but it is still awesome.

  • sounds like the PC show, my god turn up Lennons mic!

  • @BurkeDevlin66 ............. its just this clip- someone has 'taken john lennons vocals out of the mix--

  • Dear God, Please send us back George Harrison and John Lennon. We'll Send you back Justin Bieber & Rebecca Black!

    ~ Beatles' Fans

  • I like more Paul than Faul :(

  • @manuelbassaniful Well Faul wrote Hey Jude, Let it Be, Sgt Pepper, The Long and Winding Road, etc, While Paul Wrote Yesterday, And i Love Her, Drive my Car, and All My Loving so they were (and Faul still is) Talented in Their own Right. One of The Main Reasons that The Beatles Broke up is because Faul could not get along with John the way Paul could P.S John Lennon is Alive in London

  • @romans52345 Oh my god.... ._.

PD: Yesterdey is the best song of the beatles :D

  • This shuld be an axe commercial.

  • Eventhough the technology was bad at that time..Yet beatles has managed to pull off the most kickass live version of "I want to hold your hand" on YouTube.\m/

They would've still given the current metals a run for their music!

  • What a great song!! It is difficult to here song like this nowadays.. I Respect old times....

  • PAUL IT'S AMAZING!!

  • I love George's facial expression at 47 seconds.

  • umm...why is mr.lennons mic so low

  • 1:05 hahahha :D

  • I think John microphone did not work, only hear the voice of Paul, and George realized this, but still I like it.

  • Is it just me or does George look a lot like Randolph Mantooth here?

  • They changed the course of rock and roll history

  • What we're witnessing here is one of the most important moments of the 20th century.

  • @cliffburton333 and the 21st

  • @cliffburton333 whys it important?

  • @8down10 If it has to be explained to you, you'll never get it.

  • @guitarslinger48 its cool, but they were already famous worldwide so its not really important, because this appearance on tv isnt what made them

  • @8down10 This isn't what made The Beatles a popular music act, this is what launched the next era in America, what made rock and roll acceptable in mainstream culture, and it's something we haven't turned back from since.

  • @8down10 When people think of American culture these days, they think of blue jeans, football, and rock and roll. We can thank the Beatles for at least one of those.

  • @cliffburton333 but im not american, and nor are the beatles so american culture doesnt mean anything to me

  • @cliffburton333 You are fucking amazing man! The first person I've found other than me who loves the beatles and knows who cliff burton is.

  • 1 person dont hold hand Beatles

  • John had a really amazing voice and was effin gorgeous! Is it weird to have a slight crush on him right, but who cares!

  • The nuns taught us the Beatles Catechism -- The Holy Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, plus The Ghostbusters, are three, kinda four, separate divine entities but One in Menage A Troises, orgies toned-down because Ed Sullivan ran a really clean shoe. No STD's for Our True Saviors Who Have Everlasting Life and the only extraterrestrials permitted to eat Pussy Communion Wafers in Heaven. Let Go of my Eggo waffle wafer, John Lennon says to George Harrison in Tit Soup Jacuzzi in the sky.

  • 1 person is germophobic.

  • To me, this will always be the "ORIGINAL" Beatles song - period. Let me explain...as a 7 year old living in Chicago that Sunday night, it was the very first time I ever saw or heard them. It was so remarkable that I immediately grabbed my I-pod and started texting all my 3rd grade classmates....(oops!, just a brief acid flashback there..) I have since learned they existed before that but it's impossible to erase that memory. The Beatles remain the GOLD STANDARD of rock music - like Arnold Palmer

  • Im so jealous of the people in the crowd! i love this song!

  • Could George be any cuter? He is still only 20 here

  • The Paul McCartney headshake is amazing.

  • RINGO STARR<3 HANDSOME LOVE HIS HAIR(:

  • THE BEATLES ROCK,THE BEATLES ROCK,THE BEATLES ROCK(:I LOVE THEM!!!WE WERE BORN IN THE WRONG GENERATION

  • Gosh i wish i had a time machine. I would so go to this concert!

  • George is adorable

  • 1:26 - funny milf

  • john's guitar is way too low.

  • Great video! The sound needs to be better.. you can barely hear it.

  • OMG!! Paul is soo cute!! press 9 for the cutest thing ever! i kept replaying it over and over!

  • @cory1342 yupp(: cute teen

  • I love Paul!! ♥

  • is it just me or were the beatles 100% better live???

  • @09keaym The Beatles were a very good live band, it's just a shame that the technology of the time wasn't capable of capturing this properly (over the sound of all the young girls screaming :P)

  • @FlameClawBeatles Also a shame they didnt do all their songs live.

  • @09keaym Yeah they were good live, that's actually one of the reasons why they got so big and popular, in the beginning of the 60's they were one of the few bands that could ACTUALLY play their songs and play 'em so they sounded like the studio recording

  • @09keaym - YEAH BUT THIS IS NOT THE SOUND OF THE BEATLES-----THIS IS SHITE-wheres john vocals?????????

  • @sunriseRISE tune your ears up, man. It is noticed that the John's microphone is very low, but you can easily hear his voice. Pay attention

  • @09keaym .. yeah they wereBUT this is not the sound of the Beatles live-THIS IS THE SOUND OF JUST PAUL GEORGE ANF RINGO and it sounds lame without JOHN LENNONS LEAD VOCALS.. it sounds fooking pussy-- and there are heaps clips with the true sound of the beatles live'' who ever put this clip up has turned Lennons lead vocals so low they are not there

  • @09keaym Every Band Is Better Live.

  • i got goosebumps watching this

  • i want to hold your handdddddddd xD genial =)

  • TOO GOOD!

  • for some reason you only hear paul

  • @gowiththeflowish You can still hear John's harmonies, Paul's mic would have been turned up louder as he was singing lead :D

  • @FlameClawBeatles but in the recording of the song you hear more John's voice....

  • @romans52345 John's voice is more cutting and is actually louder in the mix due to the fact that he is singer higher in the sound. If anything his part would traditionally be the melody as in vocal singing the highest part is usually considered the melody. In this song, John and Paul sing in unison most of the time but only split into harmonies at the end of phrases and the chorus...

  • ...So they could be the same level and your ear picks up John's voice because it sits higher in the mix or it could be that Paul was singing what their producer considered the melody and knew your ear would pick it up naturally and so turned up John's harmonies on purpose to make them more evident in the final mix.

  • Comment removed

  • @FlameClawBeatles they both were lead

  • @FlameClawBeatles in the recording both John and Paul are singing lead. John sings lead while Paul sings the harmonic lead.

  • @FlameClawBeatles What? Are you clueless? John and Paul sing "I Want to Hold your Hand" as a DUET. There's no lead singer on the song. Have you ever listened to the original? The Ed Sullivan show performance was mixed on an audio board designed for TV, which was extremely primitive compared to today's multi-channel, multi-track production boards. This was 1964, and The Beatles were one of the first straight-up rock 'n' roll bands to ever appear on live TV. That's why Paul's vocal is louder.

  • @FlameClawBeatles john sings this! (or is supposed to....sry.....was he sick that day er?........idk :/)

  • @FlameClawBeatles .....bollocks---its just this clip ''someone has turned john allmost 'off'' and left paul loud,,IT SOUNDS LIKE SHIT... this is not hoe the beatles sounded-- this is stupid'' johns vocal are what make this song ''strong;;

  • @gowiththeflowish John's mic was kinda messed up during this performance. you can also tell when they sing ''She Loves You" as you mostly hear paul singing more than john.

  • @MrBeatlesfreak95 You're right. They had a lot of problems with the vocals on these Ed Sullivan shows. On the dress rehearsal in Miami, it's the opposite of this, you can hear John on this song and not really Paul. And on "I Saw Her Standing There" you can't hear either of them for like half the song and then you can hear John later, but the Paul's lead vocal is missing for a lot of the song.

  • @gowiththeflowish I can clearly hear John

  • cool!
