Americans need to realize that that there are other countries in the world too who are just as good as the USA> They may not be economically advance as the US but still great in many other areas. Track and field is a national sport in Jamaica. The US has many other sports and besides the USA is the third largest country in the world by Population , therefore more people to choose from for sporting events.

The americans came in this championship as a more cohesive team than the jamaicans.They were practicing all along.The jamaicans had a lot of issues in their camp and still does.Take into consideration that this was not evevn the best jamican team(they were missing Sherone and Sheriann brooks).Simone facey is not even a sub-11 athlete and bailey is a 11.04 at best. THe jamaicans would have still won.

yea its true simone facey and aleen bailey should have been changed for sherone simpson and veronica campbell brown but sherone has been injured this season and i think the reason they didnt put veronica in it is because the americans werent in it anymore so they knew it was easy and let simone facey have a go
