I am a firm believer in the future reputation economy. However, I think it must be realized that it already exists in the form of credit ratings, securities, bonds etc. Admittedly, these are financial trust instruments that do touch our lives but usually not directly. Its important to draw from the trust mechanisms in the financial sector to build a more distributed personal reputation economy. All that work will be useful in building the social Moodys of the future.
