As an Asian Immigrant, I congratulate you on your career success. Your thoughtful humility underscore your personality. More successes are on the way. Best wishes to you.
I even know that at one point there was trouble for Chinese even to be recognised and valued in China, as foreigners were controling China. Whenever a chinese person achieved something, I am cheering. Whether it was two chinese people making it into the Scooker championship finals or Joe Wong on who is becoming a recognised comedian in the USA!!!
I really appreciate what this man does. I am someone who is quite aware that no matter how far society claims to move on, there is still great discrimination against immigrants in the west. I am mixed Jamaican and love China and the Chinese, recognising the great struggle China has had over their history to be recognised outside of China. I am proud of Jod Wong and his efforts to bring recognition to the value of immigrants, especially the Chinese!!!
@rapjigga1, I dont disagree with your sentiment, but from a broader sense of history. China has only really 'struggled' in the recent 200 years. For the three thousand years before the 1800, China compare to the world was more like America today.
Joe's work mostly from eyes of mainland Chinese immigrants. Nevertheless, as one of them, I'm indeed proud of him to step out from tradition and get into this challenge field to make people's life better.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work on Chinese-American culture issues. Great job Ying

作为移民一代确实很辛苦,而能成为让美国人接受的移民就更难上加难,但人家确实是辛苦付出的结果,支持你
