Late Sixties syndicated reruns (starting in the fall of 1968 or thereabouts) of the Beatles' cartoon series had the 1967-68 season opening titles edited onto all the 1965 and 1966 season episodes.
I had always heard that they were unhappy with the characterizations and as a result, were a bit skiddish when approached to do "The Yellow Submarine".
my favorite part is :54 in when John Lennon is shooting down a plane in a war. WTF?
