  • I see they shut down that other fellow with the Canadian 45 singles. Well you're keeping the torch alive. Saw these boys at an Etobicoke high school, 1974.

  • slap my ass and call me billy ......that is the finest

  • I chuckle at the label reading "From the album "...On!". Fludd wanted their album to be called "Cock On!" and be pictured as trench-coated flasher on the cover, but the label wouldn't allow it.

  • "cousin mary" just may be the best early 70's song by a non-major group...awesome!!!

  • I saw one of the band members playing with Ian Thomas just a few years ago. Cool..

  • this song always reminded me of mcguinness flint and the sutherland brothers. great tune

  • No matter where I am in public - a restaurant, the mall, wherever - if I hear the opening harmonica notes floating from a loudspeaker, I stop dead in my tracks, tilt my head like an inquisitive dog, and do nothing but listen, enraptured, soaking the song in, until it ends. Then I go on my merry way.

Yeah, I love it. It's just brilliant.

  • A timeless classic! Well produced, written, performed . This song is right up there for me with Steel River's Ten Pound Note.

  • them pilling brothers sure could write a good song if you ask me

  • Nice A.M. friendly steal of Dylan's "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere" melody; perfect example of early 'seventies radio pop; thanks for sharing!

  • Never heard this before but I love it.

Reminiscent of a lot of great 70s music such as The Faces,The Band,McGuinness Flint etc.

    Thanks for upping.

  • Fludd came to my highschool in the 70's and I took a pictuer with my Kodak Instamatic 124 of the lead singer sitting in a chair on the stage playing guitar and singing...I still have the photo somewhere.

  • I may be too young for this song, but I remember listening this song when I was younger, and it hasn't changed. It's still as good as ever.

  • This is the most pure, most beautiful song ever written.

  • Great memories, I remember this song very well from the early 70s. Dang...you just don't too many...or any FLUDD songs on the radio anymore.

  • I've actually heard this song on western Newfoundland's classic rock outlet, 103.9 K-Rock, a few times.

  • K-Rock is 9.75

    Kixx Country is 103.9

  • Actually, K-Rock in St. John's is 97.5, but Kixx Country 103.9 in Corner Brook is really 103.9 K-Rock.

  • Haha, My bad.

I forget that the channel number changes throughout the province. I'm in St.. John's so I know K-Rock as 9.75 and Kixx Country as 103.9
