I see they shut down that other fellow with the Canadian 45 singles. Well you're keeping the torch alive. Saw these boys at an Etobicoke high school, 1974.
I chuckle at the label reading "From the album "...On!". Fludd wanted their album to be called "Cock On!" and be pictured as trench-coated flasher on the cover, but the label wouldn't allow it.
No matter where I am in public - a restaurant, the mall, wherever - if I hear the opening harmonica notes floating from a loudspeaker, I stop dead in my tracks, tilt my head like an inquisitive dog, and do nothing but listen, enraptured, soaking the song in, until it ends. Then I go on my merry way.
Fludd came to my highschool in the 70's and I took a pictuer with my Kodak Instamatic 124 of the lead singer sitting in a chair on the stage playing guitar and singing...I still have the photo somewhere.
@gtafanboy32 You had it too? Man, I played that album until there were no grooves left in it! This is one fine example of a "rock yourself back and forth and lose yourself" piece of classic Canadian music. What moving timeless memories. Thanks for uploading.
Great song TOKENHIPPIE54, thanks for the post.Have you ever heard the Canadian band Cruiser, they had a couple of hits in the late 70,s or early 80,s.I saw them with Burton Cummings and they were fantastic. If you or anyone you know can find these 2 songs would you please let me know.Peace
Last week, this song played on the radio while me & my dad were driving down a country road in Vineland Ont to my Grandma's house. It fit the scenery prefectly.

I may be too young for this song, but I remember listening this song when I was younger, and it hasn't changed. It's still as good as ever.

I've actually heard this song on western Newfoundland's classic rock outlet, 103.9 K-Rock, a few times.
mrceleb2006 2 years ago
K-Rock is 9.75
Kixx Country is 103.9
IamtheMeghan 2 years ago
Actually, K-Rock in St. John's is 97.5, but Kixx Country 103.9 in Corner Brook is really 103.9 K-Rock.
mrceleb2006 2 years ago
Haha, My bad.
I forget that the channel number changes throughout the province. I'm in St.. John's so I know K-Rock as 9.75 and Kixx Country as 103.9
IamtheMeghan 2 years ago
Oh, I see. Kixx Country 103.9 is from Carbonear-Harbour Grace.
