It is a Mexican movie, writen, produced and directed by del toro, he decided to have the plot in Spain and acted by spaniards...that does not make it a Spanish movie...check Wilkopedia

I HATE the guys who narrate American films. (They narrate some films from other places too.) There's two of them, really: the one who's all "Little Billy has a problem! This is a comedy! Ha-ha-ha!" and the one who's like this. He reminds me of the Devil May Cry narrator in Decline Of Video Gaming... terrible.

i no its so annoying... "in a dark time... when hope was bleak..." its just so corny and ruins the audiences chances of seeing the film coz theyll just think "oh, its just another one of those films where there are infinite special effects and no acting..."

Son actores españoles, y españa puso mucho de su parte..aunque Guillermo del Toro es Mexicano y él la dirigió y produjó por lo tanto en los oscares representará a México como mejor película extranjera. Lo cual me parece justo.
