  • What a lovely song. I love, love , love Onyeka Onwenu

  • I am not Nigerian but I love Nigeria and most of all ONYEKA she is a great, singer actress and who knows maybe one day -Run for President.

  • That which is Evergreen reveals itself with TIME.

  • What a beautiful song...

    I remember this.

  • Onyeka is the great Dame of Nigeria, she should receive a lot of respect. Being Ibo and still have support for Nigeria is a great thing! Onyeka if you could read this: altough I am white and German I support the great country of Nigeria and I hope that our dreams for the nation may become true one day!!!

  • Onyeka is the great dame of Nigeria, whish she could have been President, but she would have probably been denied . Listen and respect (by the way just listening is easy)

  • Onyeka is the great dame of Nigeria, whish she could have been President, but she would have probably been denied .

  • I am not from Nigeria but guess what I am proud to be African. We need peace in every home, state, country and in this way we can have peace in our Africa. If there is no peace in our countries there is no way our Africa can SHINE.

  • @mya321 GO ON WITGH UR GOOD WORK

  • and its time any well meaning nigerians both home and abroad should come together and demand for a change.Hope you are one of those well meaning nigerians

  • Nothinless, I agree with you; we ought to all work together sincerely to make that country work (though it's gonna be a big, big job, beginning from changing the evil mentality of everybody to removal of ethnic hatred to the stabilization of the economy to the assurance of regular availability and workings of utilities and basic good infrastructures and perhaps most of all, learning to say 'NO' to the evil financial baits of the IMF and WORLD BANK loans. Whether this is feasible is unknown.

  • hmmn..zik was only a president with no real powers to put in practice the wisdom he foreseen when he fought for independence.the north was never ready for independence but they become prime minister with real powers and thats when the culture of learning on the job that pervade nigerian political system started.how are we not a failed state?with our oil reserves and ability to produce over two million barrels per day yet we are still among the world poorest.have you ever ask why?because many

  • came into power simply because they are from a particular area of the country and they came without any agenda or plan on way to move the country forward.go online and read iBB,s comments,he said the federalism as we practice it today is wrong and that abuja should be made weaker wih more responsibilties given to the states. This have been the call of eastern nigerian since independepence,I strongly believe in a united nigeria

  • To be Honest, i am gratful i was able to witness the remains of what our colonial masters left behind in Nigeria. Now these things are all gone except some few marks in some places. Listen to old music and new songs you know there is a big difference. These politicians annoy me.

  • plssss..onye ga agbaegwu..can someone load plssssss..

we igbos are really trying to make nigerian work..i know many will crucify me but nigerian will se a significant change once they let us manage that country..

  • God forbid!!! hahaa!

Naija is as bad as it could be already. You want the country to be flooded with imported spare parts and cheap clothes? Not to mention the yahoozee. LOL. Bros abeg no talk that kain thing again.

  • Its obvious that you are myopic bro and you cant see around you,go to dubai.they change their focuse about oil and their country has standout in middle east.how old is nigeria?what have we achieve since it has been ruled by north and west??i hope this is enough thought for you to have a rethink.everybody sane will retain the wining team not the loosing team.

  • I meant no offence bro. Just having some fun u-know. Your comments are valid on this vid.

  • haha..now i know you load this sweet song..can you find onye ga agba egwu for me..hmmn..mabe the language is beyond you already..haha..thanks bro..keep the good works

  • i'll c what i can do.

  • You mean, the general igbo mentality of 'second hand better pass original' syndrome will make that moribund Nigeria 'work'? 'Will the 'working' be authentic or 'second hand' this time?

  • haha..since when does second hand mentally become igbo?what is TOKUMBO?last time i check it was a yoruba word.what the igbos do with secondhand is that they perfect it and make it reachable for all..its time we need to take away tribalism and let those that can do the job to have the job.and one more thing..i believe the igbos are widely travel and as you and me knew ,its only when you leave nigeria that you will understand that what they run there is not government .

  • B'cos they are well known and versed (as well as do) that kind of trading (with fervent swearing to compliment to its 'authenticity')! 'TOKUMBO' may be a yoruba word, butI dont think we believe it's better than 'brand new' product(s). I wonder why Igbos generally sell well packaged fake products as original (wanting to prove with fervent swearing (i.e. 'I swear') that it's original). Well, a few familiar home truths may be hard to bear or hearing. Nothinless, we all should work together.

  • swearing?which trader or sales man all over the world that wouldnt swear to sell his good?bro you and me knows very well that we need a change of attitude in nigeria..its only in nigeria that we condon evil because its from our tribe..we know that nigeria is a failed state and who do you blame?is it not those that have been managing it since independence till now?all over the world when a country thinks that they are not going the right direction, they ask for a chance..

  • Stop acting ignorant. Me and you know what I am talking about. I have lived and done business activities with Igbo traders and I am honestly talking from experiences. I have been swindled several times by them into buying fake products (after been told with fervent swearing by them they were authentic). I have learnt the hard way. This way of trading still holds sway today. With this type of dishonest mentality, how then can you rule Nigeria into standing up? This aint tribalism but sober truth.

  • this is getting intresting..may i ask how many other people that you have traded with?if you are a trader which is simply a wholesaler and retailer, put in more simple language a middle man.you will understand that if you buy something which you never produce, for you to survive, you have to sell it.true leadership and good governance is not about being a saint or honest.its simply about what you know about a current situation and your plan to make necessary changes.why was soludo removed ?

  • The CBN governor (Soludo) was not removed; rather it was at the discretion of the federal government (Yar'adua) to renew his tenure (as his tenure period had been used fully and expired). Whether this was due to tribalistic animousity, I aint know. Some said the prof. voluntarily retired; others said Northern elements put pressure on Yar'adua to not renew his job contract. ''Removal'' would have been correctly defined if during his un-expired tenure, he was forcefully 'impeached' which he aint.

  • so what do you call that?that someone is doing a near perfect job and someone was brought to learn on the job?I dont know when last you visited nigeria but the score card for the past governors are out and not just about building roads but some eastern governors prove that they really can diversify and create wealth in their states..in developed country like where we stay, things like that are what voters look upon.i will still say it again..we have seen enough distruction .try others pls

  • There's no basis for your anger. You lied by saying Soludo was removed (whereas in actual fact, he completed his term in the CBN). Now you are presumptiously telling me he was better than his current successor. How do you know? Are the civil infrastructures and social amenities in the eastern states (of Nigeria) modern and which wealth have they created for the benefit of the masses (even in eastern states)? Failure in renewal of someones completed tenure is not impeachment as you purported.

  • it is evident from what you just wrote that you are out of touch with reality in nigeria .Being ignorant wont just help .I am sure you have never been to eastern nigeria and i am sure you dont follow any event that is happening in nigeria currently or you wont ask me how i know soludo is better, anyway what i am trying to put to you is that nigeria as it was being managed by the crop of greedy illitrates from north and west is a failed state

  • I have lived in Enugu before some time ago. So you're wrong. The south eastern states of Nigeria were ruled by state governors indigenous to such areas and the infrastructe of these areas are even worse of generally than that of the south west. Why did not your indigenous governors make any (or much) difference (since they're directly responsible for ruling their lands)? That aside, it is only relatively recent that presidents from the south west occurred. Most times, they were northerners.

  • So I dont quite agree with you that greedy people only emanated from the north and west. There are also very desperately greedy people from the east (with the mentality I described earlier) pervading all echelons of society (such that it is known by them). When Zik. was president, what tangible good did he do for Nigeria (Nigeria was already in good economic times before he started ruling), so he couldn't have done much. Nigeria is not a FAILED state (as it aint ravaged by war anf farmine etc).

  • if only we can change this unitary system and practice true federalism. We always say that charity begins at home,if we can change our mentality by doing what is right in the interest of the nation,we will still salvage the country.election is soon approaching..you can make a difference by educating your kins in nigeria that what we had there is not a government and that earlier they start seeing outside the ecthnicity, the better for the whole country.

  • true, but it can be better, i'm tired of the news i hear about naija, i'm 26 and living in yankee, if i feel like this then there is something wrong.

  • would someone please put the original one love she sang not the remix please please pretty please. I love that song
