Okay, why the hell does everyone keep saying their armor looks like "the ones from Halo"?

Seriously; the two look NOTHING alike. There are two similiarites; they're both green, and both have gold visors. Why? Because green is military standard coloring, and polarized gold reflects sunlight supremely well. Which is why they have gold visors on spacesuits. And really fancy sunglasses.

To clear things up, halo mjolnir armour was based off of I believe its called mk14-a power armour from starship troopers. Space marine armour in halo was based off the movie armour in sst and warhammer 40k sentinels and starwars chicken walkers were both based on book descriptions of merauder chiken hawks I think they called them. Tyranids were also based off of arachnid and xenomorphs, sci fi is basically the same stuf used differentley, even avatar was pocahuntus with blue furrys

And the armor in SST (the movie) was based on an actual military prototype that was never put into production.

And MJOLINR wasn't based on anything from SST. It was based on something from an earlier Bungie game.

I just cannot understand why many make comments about Halo despite the Starship Troopers was made way before Halo was conceptualized, in fact if it wasn't for Starship Troopers, games like Half-Life, Halo, StarCraft, etc would not have not been conceptualized, let alone exist.

@DMG125 you mean starship troopers the book, right? not starship troopers verhoven... that's a 97 movie, starcraft came up in 98 and was an adaptation of warhammer 40k, which was around for a long time.

now what I'd like to see is a real kick ass heinlein starship troopers movie, with the politics and everything in. and real marauder powersuits.

I just cannot stomach other's comments which has reference to Halo. The novel was made in the 1950s if I remember it correctly while Halo only came out in early 2000s
