@lordtyrn Godfather is JUST a movie though. Look at stuff like 2001 or Donnie Darko, those are movies and philosophy intertwined whereas Godfather is just a bunch of really good acting and screenplay (not to downplay *how* good the screenplay/acting is)

@Sph34r kubrick is my favorite director of all time and i like 2001 (but its not even in my top 3: clockwork, eyes wide shut, barry lyndon) and about donnie darko..i liked it for the first time. last year i rewatched it with my gf and i found it not as mind blowing as the first time. its not that great. on the other hand godfather part 2 is still perfect every time. its not just a story. its about family, about power, about changing of personality. i think these are pretty important issues.
