  • The pitch isn't correct. The original version can be found here: watch?v=Y996KDHKFuc

This was apparently a demo for Definitely Maybe with Noel writing it sometime between 1991-1994. The vocals are by Liam.

  • Liam wrote this

  • Liam and Bonehead wrote this.

  • it's oasis, listen to noel solo's

  • noel wrote this, you can clearly hear his lead guitar style. Or at least hes playing lead guitar

  • its a baggy stone roses inspired tune!!

  • Terrible version, you ruined the tune.

  • @maxihadda i agree. this version is sped up and there is too much background hissing

  • Maybe, it's the track by The Rain because it is fuelled with Madchester sound!

  • this is definetely a noel track, otherwise the whole wall of sound, the solo's and whole energy of oasis was created prior to noel joining,,

  • that picture at the beginning proves that Liam had perfected his 'leaning with his chin in the air' from an early age.

  • great uplifting song...............real gallagher positive style.

  • Sounds alot like Joy Division to begin with.

  • that drum fill at the start reminds me of run dmc for some reason

  • this sounds like american alternative from the early 90s music

  • Around 96 there use to be a stall in romford that sold live oasis cds and sometimes they had early oasis demos on them this was one but there where 6 or 7 of them this was one of the best

  • if this song had been on definitely maybe it would've made the album tat much more immortal and addictive.

this is why i love oasis even thier songs are suprising and mindblowing.

  • This aint Oasis dude!

  • @indoorsun Yes, it is.

  • All along watchtower, anyone? ^^

  • great song but the sound quality is horrible

  • this is the vibe of oasis we all know and love.

  • Sounds like a Rain tune ie: Pre Noel. Liam & Bonehead had a few tunes before Noel joined in late 91'. Great tune.

  • Get a life you faggots.

  • serious bass line :)

  • seriously this reminds me of the kooks

  • What band is this? See the Sun?

  • Fantastic song, was this recorded in the boardwalk can anyone tell me, love the boardwalk demos? Thanks, Great song!! :P

  • Fanruddytasticooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

  • why wasn't this released ? heard that Liam might be relocating to NYC . if he does i will too

  • @MrFives85 he won"t, never.

  • oasis do joy division/roses...

  • Man, you can really hear the Stone Roses influence in this one.

  • love the guitar riff ! and what a lovely photo of the two of them . great decision from Peggy to up ship and move away from there dad . love ya lads please Live forever Oasis . been a fan since 94 . my first ever concert was in cork in 96/97 with me sis and me mam. yeah me mam saw oasis and the prodigy . rock on !

  • how long is the second b side album gonna be ??

  • Feels like some U2 influence on this track, i love how raw it sounds coupled with Liam's attitude. Noel is such a frikkin tune-smith. I'd love to see them do a duet throw back concert with the verve.

  • Madchester sound

    Oasis Forever

  • Sorry, amateur question, but who wrote this? Noel or Liam?

  • @rangedkid Apparently Noel. Cheers..

  • @nicolasperezgatti Good enough for me. Thanks. It's just that the sound is very pre-Noel sounding.

  • @nicolasperezgatti

sounds like one of liams songs before noel joined to be honest...

  • Comment removed

  • @nicolasperezgatti well yeah, noel wrote almost all the tracks...

  • this song it's not oasis's style

complete differente of the usual song

    the instrumental is great

    but the lyrics... gezz

    good, though

  • there's a buzz behind, is the song or something else?

  • @kristoffmcewan Is the song, the original sound.

  • @nicolasperezgatti i'm not sure, i got the ep of this song and there the buzz is different from the one that i'm hearing here

  • LIAM & NOEL MY HEROES

  • Who wrote this tune man?

  • @01stursa Apparently Noel. Cheers..

  • @nicolasperezgatti nop, this is not oasis It's The Rain, liams band before noel join

  • @marce90r That is very possible. Thank you for your comment!

  • @nicolasperezgatti is this not a Noel's tune? the guitar style and songwriting is very similar to other early oasis demos written by him, i definitely sense noel's input in this tune. btw, who was The Rain's guitarplayer before Noel? bonehead? i doubt he wrote this tune by himself... Noel brought on the real game

  • @nicolasperezgatti

If indeed this is from Rain, then it would be Bonehead writing the music and Liam the lyrics. That's how they did it back then if I've heard correctly. Noel said the only good song they did was Take Me.

  • @marce90r oasis was founded in 1991 (see the sun is from 1992) and noel wrote it

  • @marce90r no , it was chris huttons band , when he got sacked, liam joined on the condition they were renamed oasis ;)

  • @marce90r it's Oasis....the only "Liam" track from these Liverpool sessions was "Take Me" (he wrote the words).

  • @marce90r Its not The Rain because Liam changed name as soon as Chris Hutton left and was replaced by Liam who changed the name to Oasis, so they were Oasis when they did this.

  • @marce90r nah its after 1991 so noels joined and theyve started recording noels songs and liam/bonehead ones

  • @marce90r no it's oasis because it's 1992 and they've changed the name to oasis and noel's in the band now

  • always been one of my fav oasis tunes

  • You miss the moon on Monday morning...

    Oasis live forever!!!

  • would have been the best song of any other band

  • my favorite oasis demo

  • this is fucking deadly!

  • huge influence of stone roses on this tune.

  • This is good. Sounds a lot like ash.

  • Fuckn genius,

    lad, this is brilliant

  • me like ... lot's..

  • love this track, Noel shoudl re-record it and get Ian Brown to do the vocals....

  • haha yea. I absolutely agree!

  • wtf is with them chords r they right?

  • Yeah. The others versions in youtube are retouched. This not. And the chords are uploaded by me.

  • yeah i see ultimate guitars automatic tabs are showing the wrong chords they should get rid of that stupid crap its annoying

  • If you analyze the other Youtube versions of this song, you'll see that the voice of Liam sounds rare and heavy. That's becouse they are down half tone or even more. Cheers.

  • I never heard this song before, and certainly never heard Liam's voice so fresh, hehe.

    Cool.

  • lol @ picture Liam is doing the stance lol

  • loooove this song

  • plus a billion

  • you have so fucking right...wish they could understand the superior of this masterpiece

  • wish oasis would of played this at heaton park this behind cigarettes and alcohol my all time favourite oasis tracks

  • would pay 1 000 000$ to see Oasis play See the Sun live with the 1994 original line up

  • not probably enough for boys.. Bonehead and guigsy probably wont enjoy Oasis anymore.. but maybe they could enjoy your money ;DD

  • @oasisoasis21 me too, i've got already 23$ free, may i join?

  • You can really here the Stone Roses influence in this song. Excellent

  • thank u so much for posting this!

just came across it accidently and its such a great tune..

like this powerfull oasis stuff like "hello" and songs like that best

  • Thank YOu for comment my friend..!

  • BRING BACK GUIGSEY!!

  • i prefer andy bell by miles.

  • Noel obviousely created that bassline.. Im sure andy bell could play it live

  • after listening to this song so many times, i still can't believe this is guigsy on bass, it's damn good

  • Id rather listen to this than listen to that cunt out of the Killers trying to sing any day, its like hes making it up as hes going along in his shit country Western videos.Oasis the only last working class real band left.

  • lol the pre puberty Liam on the mic...by the way i think all these rare demos on "the lost tape"...some of the songs are very roses and shoegazing influenced...

  • I miss he 90s by the way.The 2000s were awful for nearly everything.

  • even the youtube and the fact that you dont need to spend fooking 21 bucks to buy a record anymore?

  • yeah man, while i love youtube and can't complain about the free music, it's part of the reason we'll never again encounter a fresh new band as amazing as oasis, those days are gone.

  • @pegger18636

    Well said m8!

What an amazing song, I fucking love it!

  • All you cunts slagging this id rather listen to this than to "To be were theres life" ITS RAW, Oasis were better in the early days true rockin roll, still a great band themusic was better back then.I should no ive been a fan since i was 10 in 94.

  • This is great! Was this written by Noel?

  • Yeah.

  • this is my favorite song by far.

  • was this before noel joined?

  • Some people said that this song was recorded about 1993 or 1994.

    Nop.

Is from the album "PortaStudio" (1992). And later from the album "the lost tapes" (1993)

    Anyway..

Noel was in the band at the first batch of Oasis demos from 1992 which was never given a proper studio outing, and has remained available only through bootleged versions of what have become know as the band's " Lost Tapes"

    cheers.

  • lyrics are absolute bollocks. but the song has a big fucking groove and the guitarplay is infecting

  • This song is pretty fucking good.

  • this song would be fantastic if it was recorded tday its raw . and powerfull

  • If this one was recorded today it would sound like complete shit. Laim's voice is crap nowadays compared to what it used to be in the good old 90's

  • This would blow your head off in a gig!

  • wot a song pure 90s indie bring back those drug filled days

  • heroin tunes matey vocabulary sounds freakin awesome

  • Hmm.

Yeah they did listen to The Stone Roses quite a bit didn't they ?

  • yea and before they devloped their own unique style it showed, lol nothing wrong w/ that tho in their early days!!

  • not noels finest hour

  • noel dint write it :) haha can ya tell?

  • Thank God Noel took over when he did.

  • it is father time

  • who wrote this song?

  • btw i think the lyric is "father time, keeps on ticking" not "by the time"

  • i cant get enough of this version

  • This includes Noel on guitar. It's speeded up here thought. Not the regular tempo.

  • speeded?

  • Nop. The other version is slowed and cleaned.

  • dw mate i found this song on limewire i was well suprised but im tryin to find all there other songs and i cant so annyoin!!

  • I found this song on a dodgy oasis cd, called the Secrets of Arabia, a collection of live songs. Bought it in a KL market in Malyaisa 10 years ago.

  • this is such a tunee! where can i get this song from? i want to download it and put it on a cd but i cant find the song anywhere! where can i get this from? please tell mee

  • such a tunee, how can i get this song? i want to download it then put it on a cd but i cant find it anywhere, can any1 help me? where can i get it?

  • this is around 1992, maybe even before noel joined.

  • if so, does that mean liam wrote this?

wow.. such a fuckin good tune.

Oasis Bsides are better than most bands A sides.

  • possibly, as Noel scrapped all songs written by Liam and bonehead when he joined. There is another good song written and sung around this time called, "take me".

  • this version would of being about 1990 because they were doing gigs in 92

  • better vocals on this version. great.

    faster tempo, love it.

  • Cheers! ;)

  • how is this unreleased??

  • I dig this song. alot like the roses but i dig it
