I was Eight when 1980 came, and Eight-Teen when 1989 closed out, so the eighties were pretty much my childhood. Although I listened to a myriad of different music, I can honestly say that I never stopped listening to, and enjoying Journey. Funny how a friend and myself were just talking about Journey a couple of days ago. Now I am forty, and it seems like a lifetime ago, but I distinctly remember the eighties as being the best time for me.
