  • Well, yes, the house is quite lovely, and thank you for the hospitality, however it is just not quite what we were looking for. :)

  • sooooo cute!

  • Awww good mom! i just resuced this one

  • bread is actually very good for ducks there so cute and cuddly and oh i wanna pick them up so bad! the mama wouldn't like it though.

  • how is bread bad for ducks? "Internet genius"?

  • all the more reason to immigrate to Australia over the summer, the locals are so friendly, even to a family of ducks!

  • They are all like,"Okay. Heres the plan. We walk into this house and enter the main computer. Take over the world!"

    SOO CUTE!

  • should not be feeing the ducks bread the glutin breaks down and puts a slimy wall around there stomachs preventing them from obsorbing the nutrents from there foods.. like puting glue on a wall.. sad

  • come on, people; knowledge is fine and thank you for spreading it but a bag of chips in a life otherwise filled with foraged foods, seeds, grubs, etc? And to die of being fat in the wild? Have you any concept of this irony?

  • Cute little ducks.

  • I would catch one of them!

  • cracked corn is the best for ducks

  • Very cute!!!!!

  • Bread is a nono for ducks :( But, you are all very nice people :D

  • it's nice that you fed them, but bread isn't ideal for birds that hang around water alot

  • Some people here claim that bread isn't good for ducks. Why? I've always fed ducks with bread, especially toast bread, but if it causes any damage to them, I won't do it anymore in the future.

  • @SamHawkens Bread is the equivalent to junk food for ducks, and too much bread can lead to excessive weight and malnutrition. In some cases the overweight birds lose the ability to fly. Offered in extreme moderation, bread is not harmful, but that moderation is hard to judge. Environmentally conscious birders will refrain from offering any bread to ducks to avoid dietary problems and other issues caused by a carbohydrate rich diet

  • I like your video. I love ducks. We have a pair of Mallard Ducks that come to our school each year to make their nest and we walk with them to the lake. You can go to Marigold's Journey 2010 and see our video.

  • haha the mom duck looks so dumb.

  • @LenoeZ NO SHE DOESNT!

  • How heroic. I'm surprised they didn't poop all over your house. :D

  • omgosh thats so precious! I would gladddly do the same as well! especially if its hailing.

Oh how nice of you guys :D

  • So cute!! If it happens again, give them barley or wheat seeds...they love it and is good for them. Bread isn't good for them even though they love it!

  • Bread is bad for ducks.

  • Agreed..keep wildlife wild!

  • @OhMikeSays really why?

  • @OhMikeSays

  • i dont think ducks are illegal anywhere

  • @Raptiosaur ur dumb...

  • cuteeeeeeeeee

  • this is so adorable (:

  • I love ducks. I have 7 Mallard ducks right now. 5 I incubated from eggs and 2 were bought at a feed store. They sometimes will quack at the back door and if the weather's too bad, I'll bring them in for the night.

  • that was very sweet and kind of you. and how cute that the mom duck trusted you enough to come in.

  • That is so cute, and so hospitable of you!

  • thats so nice of you to let them in and give them bread. i would of done the same thing.

  • why wouldnt the mommy duck eat?

  • That was adorable and very sweet of you.

That is one smart mother, too. She had the sense to seek shelter and o get your attention. She must be very used to humans and well aware of humans consideration for cute animals to actually asked to be let into a human dwelling.

  • Delicious.

  • they watched TV! lol, ur pretty brave and nice for letting them in. I wouldnt let them around like this, probally put them ina small surface closed.

  • GTFO! lool

  • Aww they're adorable!

  • Sho cute.

  • well i might put another 1 up of these ducks who are coming to our garden every day!

  • Thank you so much for giving shelter to my friends!! (But you know, bread is awfully unhealthy for wild birds. Seeds, worms, etc., are preferable. You get an A+ for being so hospitable.)

  • worms arent too good either. catfood is good from what i hear. thats what we fed our rescued birds where i used to work

  • Actually, mallard ducks will eat worms and small fish as well as water plants and small wild flowers (I've already seen wild ducks eat "buttercups"). And they'll be happy to eat whatever's in your garden, including tomatoes..

  • That was so sweet of all of you. For a family that has the nice habit of taking off your shoes when entering the house, you don't hesitate to throw bread on the floor for a mama duck and her peeps. I'll be your friend!

  • So sweet

  • you guys are so nice

  • .<b>ducks with sense LOL. Thanks for sharing!

  • i know aye they were so cute it was hailing and the mom was yelling at us to let her and ducks in

  • Thats was Absolutely Precious

  • Adorable!
