When I was in high school I had a friend in London back then who used to send me cassette tapes of John Peel's radio show and this was on one of them. Been a fan of Siouxsie for 31 years now. Damn I'm getting old!

have it on vinyl-i'm 38 so didn't get it 1st time around. was hip hop/rap monkey. so wish i was around at the time... looks ace. new wave and stuff. makes so much sense to me now. i wouldn't have considered it as relevant music in 1983!! i was wearing burtons snow wash jeans and pale blue deck shoes in that year so probably not qualified to comment.. i was also an object of ridicule among the ruling elite... death has become them-slowly..

I know it's not that popular among fans but I always did love Join Hands. This is excellent.

Yes I'm surprised Join Hands is so overlooked. Its dark, menacing and lyrically very poetic and scathing. And Siouxsie sounds fantastic over a wall of catatonic white noise.

My personal favourite of theirs.
