ok everybody u dont need to cut off the ends all u need to do is take the plastic off the ends and the end will not be round underneath the plastic is a smooth straight end!

@songsmysongs That's depending on the bobby pin. In my case, the ends were plastic melted down on the metal surface. So My options was to cut off the end or melt off the plastic. I chose the easy way.
