I can't say many come to mind that would match these two. I'm a fan of Adam & the Ants song "Stand & Deliver", maybe one of their songs would be good to use? Or something more from The Human League, ABC or even the song "Under Pressure". Im not totally sure who sings that though. I hope I was a help though!

Yes I thought that would be a good one for them as their relationship doesn't seem to be moving on to anything apart from looking and thinking about each other! I am concerned the relationship is going backwards atm as far as Alex is concerned as she is more focused on going home to Molls

Gene is definately getting closer feelings towards her but he isn't acting on them

I just loved how Gene was the only one of the group who didn't open Alex's letter to him. It shows he has a great respect for her to make Gene follow her wishes. Your right about Alex though going backwards. I hope there will be a Series 3 though. From what little info I could gleam this Series ending is meant to be open ended to swing either way just in case they get told they can or (What I hope doesn't happen) can't do a Series 3 if BBC are bastards and don't commision another Series

lovely vid :) as a Yank, most of what i see on TV is terms of relationships is pretty shallow and superficial and not remotely deep. Thank the gods for BBC America, which is where MOST of my favorite shows reside (unless they're on Sci Fi). I thought relationships based on mutual grudging respect didn't get better than Gene/Sam. THEN i saw Gene/Alex and i'm hooked. great vid. thanks for sharing :)

I love this it is a definate favourite of mine as this is my favourite show AND my favourite early 80's song! I was 14 when I watched this on tv and one year later i'm still as obsessed with it as ever! I saw the Series 2 tv preview yesterday and lets just say we can expect great things! Also any major fan of ATA should go on the BBC now it's got all about Phillip Glenister talking about Gene Hunt, Keeley talking about Alex AND a bit of info on the first two of eight episodes! How boss is that?
