  • Norwegians! That's who!

  • I should try this when it gets like -30C here in Canada :P

  • Dopee!

  • Get a bubble machine. Cover your porch with frozen bubbles!

  • @AnAnonymousStudent bingo, precisely what I was thinking

If it got really cold and dry, I'd try to fill the road with them, then shine a laser through them

  • haha gotta love living in minnesota!!! :)

  • I did this last night, only -7... I remembered as a kid when it gets to -20, they more or less instantly freeze.

    (I'm talking F scale btw)

  • One of my favorite things to do when the temps drop that low!

  • OMG, that is so cool!

I wish it could be that cold in the Netherlands too... :(

  • u shud make a carpet of frozen bubbles

  • cool to show that BUt

What happens when you have to walk that porch the next day; Icy and soapy not a good mix. be careful

  • This is like the saddest and greatest things ever.

  • @FATMUSICGUY it has to be below 0

  • great idea- well made!

  • Its called catch a bubble.

  • Try spraying them with a fine mist before they touch anything else so they don't break as easy ;)

  • HAARP!

  • baha and that is why i love minnesota!

Since it juss snowed here (which is a small town on the outskirt of minneapolis) it's 22inches where im at which makes it -18!

    Im trying this xD

  • I tried it at 15 F and it worked fine, as long as it's in the air long enough. I tried for the first time about a week ago, it was -8 F. They froze instantly.

  • And to think that's in MINNEAPOLIS! Wow! haha I used to live in Cook, Minnesota, the bubbles probably would have been rock solid there!

  • this is no joke...i experience this every year as well....HANDS UP FOR THE NORTH STAR STATE

  • this is no joke...i experience this every year as well....HANDS UP FOR THE NORTH STAR STATE

  • omg thats so cool that it gets that cold there.....wow i wish i could move to minnesota now lol

  • Now enslave penguins and force them to shoot frozen bubbles at other frozen bubbles.

  • wow thats so amazing

  • WOAH! What was the temperature out there when they froze????????? The other day it was 4 outside! I should try once the temperature drops again!

  • Any time that it's close to 0 or a negative temperature should work just fine.

  • Thank you very much.

It's still 23 here. so I guess not today.

  • What town was this filmed in? It looks almost exactly like the town i lived in, but then again, most towns up in MN don't look too different from one another....

  • Minneapolis, Minnesota

  • I used 2 live in Florida and i just moved 2 northwest Arkansas and we have a pretty cold winter (cold 2 me) today its about 19 degrees is that cold enough for the bubbles 2 freeze

  • Probably not. It usually needs to be in the negatives.

  • I really dont know how can people live in really cold places.. I lived in a semidesertic city, surrounded by mountains, so the nights didnt get to cold as you could expect in deserts, and it was really hot, then i moved to colder city (not so cold for everyone, mind you) but i cant stand winters!

I know im not made for that kind of enviorment!

  • nice, I'm stationed up by Fairbanks Alaska... it gets around -50 here... Have get some bubble machines this winter...lol

  • THAT IS SO COOL. I am definitely trying that when I go home for Christmas.

  • We're considering moving there. What you did with the bubbles was amazing!

  • Lovely <3

  • lol awesome xP

  • i did that to... it was so cool and i did the hot water and it makes a cloud thingy...that was awesome...

i also live here in minnesota.

  • I love this, did it up north before i moved to Florida! It is so cool to hear the barely audible sound it makes when it pops!

  • I tried doing this a while back, it didn;t work for me...

  • Nice, I'm definitely going to try that tomorrow. Forecast earlier this week said is was going to possibly be -40 to -50 with windchill this weekend!

Fun Fact: You can get frostbite within 2 minutes when the thermometer says -20.

I got frostbite in 5 minutes while snowmobiling. My cousin also had both his wrists covered in frostbite. Feels like a very bad sunburn even though the skin is numb!

    Oh the joys of Minnesota.

  • Very cool.

P.S., that's your clue to move somewhere warmer.

  • ZOMG THAT'S SOOO KEWL

  • thats awesome. I was just trying that here in Chicago. Its about -8 now. They turn into a skin. pick up the pile with your bare hang it they melt like saran wrap on a heater. I saw on TV someone way up in Canada took a pot of boiling water , threw it in the air and it came down like hail. I think it was -35 F (air temp` not wind chill)

  • My sister told me about that, and if you poke them when they're in the air you make dents in them. I havn't tried it yet, but maybe I will tomorrow. It's -6 now, not bad at all- I live in Corcoran Minnesota (bout 5 miles from Maple Grove)!

  • what was the temp at that time?

  • I think it was around -15 Fahrenheit.

  • jajaja never i think it. gooooog video. i try it

  • Is this in Cloquet?

  • doing stuff in teh cold isnt so bad as long as you have the right gear

  • :P not freaking awesome when you actually have to do stuff in that cold.

  • thats crazy!!

  • Remember when you were a kid and you used to blow bubbles?

    He says hi. hahahahahaha
