You need a Midna Glitch In order to keep the wooden sword forever!
The glitch this user did, will have no effect whatsoever! When you switch to master sword or click on the ordon sword again, the wooden sword will disappear again.

Zelda TP (Wii): Keep the Wooden Sword Forever!!!
All you do is jump through the gate early glitch, then continue with the game until you get the master sword. The, you go back to your house and get it. Not too tough.
If you get itvimmediately after you get the Ordon sword, you will lose it once you get the master sword.
or do the gate glitch like you said and do the skip the ordon sword glitch and get the wooden sword after the master sword, so you could have the wood and master sword
@Willards2 or slingshot...i didnt do it,i just watched a walkthrough or tas showing how to skip the sword,use the slingshot to breake the cage and get the master sword early!!!

um...even if you get the master sword, you can switch swords at ANY time. trust me, i play this game.
