Hi I saw you live in the Tampa/Clearwater area where did you buy the kimber from I've been in the market for one. Just gettin tired of carrying the glock 23. Been shopping around at cracker boys, bill Jackson's, and shoot straight.
@coolmiqqxb Well, I can understand why you would think that it is ilegal. For the gun, you need a carry permit depending if the state allows it. Now for the knife, you are allowed to carry one as long as the blade is under 3 inches long I believe. People that carry should be responsible and only use it for self defense issues.
@TheUltimateGamingGuy minimum length is also a state-to-state law. In OR for example, you can carry anything you want but if it is over 4 1/2 inches, assisted opening or a switchblade, double edged etc, it can not be concealed.
@BigBusch7 A 1911 is perhaps one of the most comfortable pistols to carry since its so thin. The weight is not an issue if you pair it up with a nice holster that distributes the weight effectively.
"If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous. If you have a gun, what in the hell do you have to be paranoid for?" Clint Smith. Enough said!
@ThePortableOps Here in America Self- Defense is a right, hell its a right everywhere just because many European nations don't recognize it doesn't mean it isn't. That means if someone is threatening, your life limb or eyesight in most situations lethal force is allowed, It kinda keeps the criminals on their heels. The ability to bear arms is also a right we here enjoy, and I'll tell you what I enjoy it more then most. See you may not understand this but we have a constitution to protect rights
@footbalr074 I think you are a bit miseducated with laws in European nations about self defense. In the USA, citizens are afforded the right to own firearms.
European nations have stricter rules on firearms. But, Self Defense is afforded unilaterally so long as the victim uses escalation of force, or if they feel they could be killed, aka be in imminent danger, immediate lethal force is allowed. Just be sure to kill the attacker and that no witnesses are around to testify otherwise in court.
@chanderson1...Finally, a very basic, simple, quality EDC system that is not way overkill! I cannot believe how many of these other EDC guys on here are completely crazy about carrying a vast assortment of stuff that is just ridiculous! There are actually several people with these EDC vid's that carry several knives, flashlights, multi-tools and even hand-guns all at once and it is just total bullshit! Thank you for a voice of reason and sanity with your common-sense approach.
@superhornet69 Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Really its all about how much weight a person wants to deal with. I like to keep it simple so there not so much fumbling around to get to the things I need when I need them most.
Well done vids!! If you can, I'd like to see one of your Sig target 1911 at the range. I am thinking about purchasing one for conversion to an IPSC shooter.
@chanderson1 my son has got it as an airsoft gun i practise for fun with it. the gun has got the safety at the back and the safety for the slide right?
@pellebooii I really like the Glock 19 for its simplicity, size and firepower capabilities. Its small enough to carry and I feel a good sized weapon for just about anything. It would be a great first gun.
@stone4451 I'm not exactly sure if there are any differences between the two states for ccw, but I know that florida is a gun friendly state. Hope you enjoy our state on your visit!
@joeratti LOL Yea there are 37 million other videos on youtube of what people carry everyday. There are also tons of videos of guys doing "gear reviews" and what they carry in their B.O.B.s. I am glad I watched this video though because now i can remember to take my watch. Very informative! Now I think I am gonna go watch one of the 800 million "fire starting" videos. LOL
Very nice choice of a holster. I really like the finish and stitching of the holster, plus the company has been around for 100+ years. Has the holster still held up over the years still?
@pjicleanair420 Yes, thats my preferred method of carry. Some people are not comfortable with this style, but I've taken many classes that teach this method of carry and I am quite confident carrying it this way.
@shares88 Hi, the laws change slightly in every state. A good guidline I follow is to never carry it into a government building(courthouses, military installations) or a place that serves alcohol. I've carried mine to the airport several times as long as I was just dropping off or picking someone up. I'm not sure about getting on a train or bus with it though. I've carried mine in banks, malls, grocery stores and just about everywhere I go to do business throughout my day with no problems.
@shares88 Hello, I believe in practicing my 2nd amendment rights to own and carry a firearm. Far too often our rights are slowly infringed upon until it totally is gone. I also believe in having the capabilities to defend my life and the life of my loved ones when the services of the proper authorities are not availible. Its really just my personal choice to carry a firearm everyday, but I do believe it should be practiced by all Americans who are capable of doing so.
@zohaib047 Yeah, its something a little different. I really like the 1911 pistols for edc because they are so thin which makes it that much more comfortable.
Love your vids, I noticed your from FLsame here! Just started the academy (self sponsor) this month. Can't wait to do what you do for a living. Stay safe!!!!
NICE EDC......theres some freaks out there that carry waaaaaaay to much stuff.......i carry a g27,watch,cell phone,Kershaw skyline, wallet ,and my keys that has a little mag light......that kimber is nice..too........
This is the First "EDC" Every Day Carry Video that I think is worth watching. Most of the people's video's that I have seen they carry way to much crap with them. I always ask them if they are Law Enforcement, A Secret Agent, or Even Batman...lol because of all the usless crud they carry.. I have worked in security for many years mostly Armed personal security & this is closer to what I carry..
I carry Sig Saur P220 Combat TB 45. with the Threaded Barrel. My holster is a Leather Galco Similar to yours I carry 2 back up Clips In a matching Galco Case the oppisite side of my Firearm. Then it is my Wallet, Keys, & iPhone.. I don't usually wear a watch & I don't carry a knife or a flashlight.. those are usually in my duty case with my handcuffs & other random crud that I don't usually carrry with me... Either way I like your video.. as my Coach used to say K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid :)
@thisisacrummyname Thanks! I really like a simple system. I know that if I keep it simple, its more likely that I'll carry everything on a daily basis. Appreciate the comment and thanks for taking the time to watch!
@chanderson1 great video.....one question.....how much did you pay for that watch, and is the case stainless steel to?.....thanks in advance.....all the best from serbia
@InnerSilence123 Because I can. I'm not worried about my cellphone, money or anything that is easily replaced. I will shoot someone to defend my life though.
@InnerSilence123 Hi, I am a civilian. In my state you are required to have a concealed weapons permit. I've thought of carrying a mulitool, but not on my person. I always have one in my truck though.
I normally carry my Colt New Agent but have not been taking a spare mag with me. Do you think the tension fit of that Galco Mag holder is strong enough or do you feel like you will loose the mag if you move to quickly? Good vid and nice practical EDC system.
the hp work good in ur 1911 no jams ? wow i want a 1911 i can shot anything ot of an have hp for carry an home use hopen never have to use a gun again but if u need u do
Hi, I normally run only hp through my Kimber. I've only had about 2 failure to feeds when it was new. Now it feeds everything. I've run nearly 2000+ rounds, mostly hp and no jams at all. I think that is an old myth about 1911s jamming with hp ammo. The newer ones have improved on the feeding issues with hp ammo.
Yeah, I love the look of the SinnU1 strap on that watch. How do you like the durability of the strap? I like the stainless bracelet but I'm always changing and evolving. Thanks for the comment!
Yeah that's one awesome video camera you have there...the watch is a little big for me too. I think I'd be smacking it on stuff all the time and would hate to scratch the bezel. Your Pro CDP II is really growing on me...as I commented on another vid I was looking at the Raptor II, but have been thinking what you said about the checkering rubbing...also like the rounded edges on the Pro CDP II (my wife has already adopted my newly purchased M&P40c so I'm without a CCW)
The Raptor II is a very nice gun, but as for ccw, I am just not sure about the aggresive checkering on that gun. I do like the carry melt treatment that Kimber provides for the CDP line of pistols. Everything is so smooth and absolutely no sharp edges or corners to get caught on anything. I have heard some horror stories from others that have owned Kimbers, but I think I've heard more good than bad. Mine has been completely reliable and it is extremely accurate out of the box.
Awesome video man. Your camera is incredible! I love how it focused in on the Marathon symbol on your watch and once you pulled your had away it focused back to the stuff on the table. I can't wait to get my Tenacious. I just bought one on eBay for $27 so hopefully I can get that by the weekend and start carrying it.
thank you. Your gonna love the tenacious. I couldnt believe the quality you get for $30. I know its made in china and I would prefer to buy american made products, but I just couldnt help myself with this one. Thanks for the comment!
Yeah, this is my first EDC video. At first I didnt understand why people wanted to see what someone carries on a regular basis, but know I'm seeing that it may help others decide on certain gear. Thanks for the comment.
The Spyderco tenacious is an awesome deal on a knife. Just one solidly constructed knife. Its a little stiff brand new, but works itself out after a few openings and feels very smooth. I love it. I have a few benchmades and I find myself carrying the tenacious more. Thanks for the comment! Oh, by the way, you make some excellent videos!
Great vid. Looks like im going to have to jump on the band wagon and do one of these. And LORD! how do you 1911 guys CCW, I have a hard enough time with my Sig haha
Thanks man! Yeah, I had reservations on doing this, but it was out of a request from a good YT friend. Its much easier to haul around a 1911 because of how thin it is, you'll be very suprised. I've got the aluminum frame with stainless slide and it very light for a 1911.
Yeah, with me its always a process of changing things up to where I like them. You never really know what will work until you actually try it out. I think this is about my final change on this gun. Everything seems to fit just right now.
great video man, i've pretty much decided i'm gonna get a 1911 when i can get my CCW. Slimness is much more important to me than weight, and I love the trigger pull of the 1911. It doesn't hurt that its a .45 ACP either.
Why did you stop wearing your crossbreed though? Did you decided to use an OWB holster during the winter?
I still have the crossbreed and I still think it is a great holster for concealed carry IWB. We have had a few chilli days here in Florida so its not out of place to wear a light jacket. This allows me to carry the OWB, which I think is way more comfortable than any IWB. So when it gets cold enough to wear a jacket, I do prefer an OWB holster.

nice set up. don't shine the light in the camera next time....

I normally carry my Colt New Agent but have not been taking a spare mag with me. Do you think the tension fit of that Galco Mag holder is strong enough or do you feel like you will loose the mag if you move to quickly? Good vid and nice practical EDC system.

Love the watch, the Kimber, and the El Paso saddlery holster great setup, I am looking for a holster for my Glock. Great video 5/5

I usually carry the Remington Golden Sabers. It was recommended to me by a friend of mine that is currently with the FBI.

the hp work good in ur 1911 no jams ? wow i want a 1911 i can shot anything ot of an have hp for carry an home use hopen never have to use a gun again but if u need u do
curtispa 2 years ago
Hi, I normally run only hp through my Kimber. I've only had about 2 failure to feeds when it was new. Now it feeds everything. I've run nearly 2000+ rounds, mostly hp and no jams at all. I think that is an old myth about 1911s jamming with hp ammo. The newer ones have improved on the feeding issues with hp ammo.

Great EDC, love that gun.
I wear my JSAR on a Sinn U1 rubber strap, also a cool combination.
Bierkameel 2 years ago

5 Stars again man
marquette048 2 years ago

I just bought one on eBay for $27 so hopefully I can get that by the weekend and start carrying it.
eje1079 2 years ago
thank you. Your gonna love the tenacious. I couldnt believe the quality you get for $30. I know its made in china and I would prefer to buy american made products, but I just couldnt help myself with this one. Thanks for the comment!

awesome EDC video :) always fun to watch what people carry everyday.
gunrobot 2 years ago
Yeah, this is my first EDC video. At first I didnt understand why people wanted to see what someone carries on a regular basis, but know I'm seeing that it may help others decide on certain gear. Thanks for the comment.

5 stars!

Very sensible gear. What is your overall opinion on the Spyderco? I carry the Police model.
ammosmith 2 years ago
The Spyderco tenacious is an awesome deal on a knife. Just one solidly constructed knife. Its a little stiff brand new, but works itself out after a few openings and feels very smooth. I love it. I have a few benchmades and I find myself carrying the tenacious more. Thanks for the comment! Oh, by the way, you make some excellent videos!

Strong little flashlight there, great vid brother !!

Thanks man. They just came out with the maratac AA. I think I'm getting one. It may fit my hand a little better. Thanks for the comment.

Quick question, is ur Kimber the Ultra? Just wondering which model exactly. Thanks
stubby0032 2 years ago
nope, it's the Pro size. 4" barrel and full sized frame.
chanderson1 2 years ago
Thanks, very nice
stubby0032 2 years ago
Great vid. Looks like im going to have to jump on the band wagon and do one of these. And LORD! how do you 1911 guys CCW, I have a hard enough time with my Sig haha
Goindeff 2 years ago
Thanks man! Yeah, I had reservations on doing this, but it was out of a request from a good YT friend. Its much easier to haul around a 1911 because of how thin it is, you'll be very suprised. I've got the aluminum frame with stainless slide and it very light for a 1911.
chanderson1 2 years ago
Gotcha. A bunch of my friends carry 1911's. I guess my Sig isnt far off from one..Good stuff happy new year
Goindeff 2 years ago
@Goindeff I find that quite insulting, sig is the same as a glock lol

I see you changed the grips again they look better.
SwerVQE 2 years ago
Yeah, with me its always a process of changing things up to where I like them. You never really know what will work until you actually try it out. I think this is about my final change on this gun. Everything seems to fit just right now.
chanderson1 2 years ago
great video man, i've pretty much decided i'm gonna get a 1911 when i can get my CCW. Slimness is much more important to me than weight, and I love the trigger pull of the 1911. It doesn't hurt that its a .45 ACP either.
Why did you stop wearing your crossbreed though? Did you decided to use an OWB holster during the winter?
nicker3290 2 years ago
I still have the crossbreed and I still think it is a great holster for concealed carry IWB. We have had a few chilli days here in Florida so its not out of place to wear a light jacket. This allows me to carry the OWB, which I think is way more comfortable than any IWB. So when it gets cold enough to wear a jacket, I do prefer an OWB holster.

very nice :) that watch is WAY to big for my liking :)
benbangui 2 years ago
hahaha...yeah, the watch is pretty big and bulky, but if I ever run out of ammo I can always use it as a blunt weapon!
chanderson1 2 years ago
haha. "Heavy is good. Heavy is a sign of reliability. If it does not work you can always hit him with it."
benbangui 2 years ago
Thats what Ive always said about my Sig haha
