I can tell you what they are, but, how come YOU can NEVER tell me what the "Book" is IF it's not the Bible (being that you believe the Bible is corrupted)? To me, the "Book" is the Bible, the Taurat is the Torah, the Zabur is the Psalms and the Injil (being the Injil (a GREEK word) means Gospel and the New Testament is GOSPEL to Christians), I think the Mo got things confused and lied about the "Book", if you know what I mean. There never WAS a book "handed down" to Jesus.

Right, there never was a book given to Jesus. The thing is, though, the "clear signs"(Quran) says there WAS a book called the "Injil", and, says it was "handed down" to Jesus. The "clear signs" also says Allah gives books to prophets in their OWN language. Yet, "Injil" means "Gospel", which is a GREEK word for "good news". This proves to me that Mo got things confused here. The New Testament is GOSPEL to Christians, but, Mo thought it was a book CALLED the "Injil".

I think the Bible is a collection of writings inspired by God. And, I don't think there was ever an Injil. I think there was only a New Testament CALLED Injil by Muhammad, telling his followers it was a book "handed down to Isa" in Aramaic, even though Injil is a GREEK word for "Gospel". I think Mo didn't realize that the New Testament is GOSPEL to Christians and NOT a "book" CALLED "Gospel" or, as he called it, "Injil". Like Christians don't call Bible "Book".

Oh, by the way, I found something in the "clear signs" that seems to contradict the notion that the Injil is NOT a book, with: "And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. I mean HOW can I judge what's in the "clear signs" if I don't have a book to judge "clear signs" with?

the bible is not allah book. the torah and the gospel are from allah, but the bible is more than just the torah and the gospel. and even the torah and gospel of bible has been changed. when the quran speaks bout the torah and gospel, it speaks of the original, not the changed versions. the people of the book are the faithful christians and jews. the ones that follow the original torah and gospel. there arent too many of them but Ive met some. They believe in one god, not the trinity.

Catholics attack Islam? By the way, I picked up a Sunni Muslim pamphlet on prayer at an Islamic center, and it quoted Muhammad saying "one hour of seeking knowledge is beter than 70 years of prayer". BETTER than SEVENTY years of prayer just ONE hour is with seeking knowledge! To me, the BEST way to do that is to ask questions. IF asking questions about Islam is attacking Islam, then, I'm sorry. There is also 'contemplation for 1 hour is better than 60 years of worship".

I don't know how Jesus or Mary prayed. As for myself, I usually pray within my mind, being that the "Book" gives me the feeling that God can read my thoughts. As for whatever is going on in Egypt, well, I'm not into wood statues of Jesus, I consider them idols, especially if you bow down to them. I do realize Catholics have a tendency to do that, but, I'm not Catholic.
