Yes, they get along great! In fact, at my doggie daycare, Tasha, the German Shepherd, actually monitors the other dogs' interaction with Bailey, the Brittany pup. If any one gets too rough with Bailey, Tasha jumps in to protect him. Every dog has a distinct personality and big ones can be more gentle than some smaller ones, so study their character traits before you make your choice.

thats really cool. Do the brittany and shepard get along well? I always wanted a big, strong dog and then maybe a lean, hunting dog, but I always thought that the bigger dog would really hurt the other.
