Unless I see Beyonce doing complex danceroutines in videos like Alright, Rhythm Nation, Pleasure Principle, Miss you much etc. Miss Jackson remains the Queen of Pop. Why? With these videos she was trendsetting in dance. With Rhythm Nation she was trendsetting in sound. Beyonce is an awesome singer but I can also say that about Jennifer Hudson. The total package is to be a trendsetter in dance, music, shows, videos etc. In that case JJ is still lightyears ahead of Beyonce.

Man o Man, Janet is great, iconic, trendsetting and original. The choreo in this vid is great to me. A little house dance mixed wit her intricit movement blended well. To you crazy folks who r leavin negative comments do remember that her choreo is beyond difficult, that is if u've ever taken from her choreographer Gil. It's intricit, quick, detailed and smooth at the same time. So the fact that she hangs wit her dancers who are some of the best and looks comfortable doin it, is great :)

If they hold auditions, dancers from all over the world are coming over just to make it to one of their dancesquads. And their level is the best of the best. But if you make it, then you have a big reference on your resume. JJ's live in hawaii dvd is some real eyecandy for dance lovers. The Miss you much and Alright videos are still excellent dance videos, even if they are about 20 years old.

I have often wondered why Janet is referred to as the princess and I think I figured it out. The only reason people call madonna the "queen" of anything is because of her ancient age and fatigued appearance. She is far too old to be the princess of anything. Janet on the other hand is timeless.
