@mandy680 I think she looks pissed/bored with the routine because she's just walking through the choreography. We used to always do a light version of the routine in hip hop class before we did the whole thing. It's just an easy way to learn the choreo without getting tired :)
Well, she can wear anything comfortable and she will still look hot. She doesn't need all those heels and very short clothes. If she performs like this on stage, she can ditch the heels and she'll look better in our eyes. In Britney's case, it's not the costume she wears but the performance she gives that is important to us fans.

I could actually cry watching this. Everybody thinks she's lost her ability to dance, but she hasn't at all. I really think it's a mixture of she doesn't care and she doesn't like to perform in front of crowds anymore. Which makes sense since how the whole world has judged her. It would be hard.
I wish she would take a week, learn a hardcore dance routine like this one, and perform just ONCE on the VMA's. If she gave us a performance like this, she would be back on top in a second. Fans would be happy for a LONG time. Just by one performance like this.

I think it's a combination of her lousy work ethic (of late) which in turn makes her less physically ready to bust out great routines. Her leg work is really sloppy and loose. She needs to step it up or stop "dancing". I like Britney and her music but this lackluster dancing is unpleasant.

Most dancers have back pain or some issues on their back and that can be a problem in their dancing especially if they are in huge heels. And let's not forget that Brithey had a broken knee.

honestly i think this video was a 'viral' move to get Britney back on the map. At the time, Britney was recovering from her 'dark times' (ironic since the album before it is called 'blackout'). i think it was coz it was a three ring circus stage, she was always on the move so everybody would see her,
it was well fitting to circus, but i hope she uses a different stage design for next time.
when she performed womanizer on star acadamy and bambi and the x factor it was totally cool, you saw her dance so good but on the circus tour it was still great but you just couldnt keep her in one place long enough to do some really cool coreography lol! thts what i think

The first is Britney herself, she had not been on stage like that for quite a long time, so maybe the next time aroudn her tour will be better. Second, I think whoever choreographed the tour did a terrible job, same with the costume designer, they kinda made Britney look like a bumbling fool. i think the reason she didn't dance like this on tour is because she was dancing in heels..but in this video she was dancing in flats.
and also..she had to keep moving around in concerts, so that everyone could see her..otherwise people would have probably complained that they couldn't see her..
its because this one routine could probably make someone exhausted..imagine a two hour show with most of your songs and having to dance from one side of the stage to the other. the circus tour has the largest set out of her other tours. she can't dance like this because she'd probably pass out in a half hour. Now I want to see her perform at an awards show. If she's only performing one song on a stage that just faces the audience and isn't a circle she doesn't have an excuse. Go Britney!!
Britney is better than most of the dancers in this video - the way she moves is effortless, the other dancers look like they're trying hard eg. 0.12, she flows so much better than the other dancers! That shows what a talent she is because the key to being a great dancer is making your dancing look easy!

It doesn't sound the same to me. They messed with her voice more with the album version. Listen to the first few lyrics on the album version, her voice is more synthesized and blended with the music. This version, you can hear what she's saying better. At least to me anyway.

@Roxas660 Because the guy who most likely choreographed this (Brit's long time choreographer, Wade Robson) got fired right before the tour went on, and they got some REALLY freakin' crappy choreographers to take his place.

@oNegLeEk Lol, sorry. Looks like Wade Robson was the director and Andre was the choreographer, but they were both replaced by Jamie King. He was the director of the "Oops" tour. But he seems to be a pretty crappy choreographer.

@oNegLeEk No, no. Wade was originally the director of the Circus Tour, and Andre was the choreographer. Jamie King, who replaced both of them as both director and choreographer of the Circus Tour (after they got fired or left for some unknown reason), was the director of the Oops Tour also.

i think it was coz it was a three ring circus stage, she was always on the move so everybody would see her,
it was well fitting to circus, but i hope she uses a different stage design for next time.
when she performed womanizer on star acadamy and bambi and the x factor it was totally cool, you saw her dance so good but on the circus tour it was still great but you just couldnt keep her in one place long enough to do some really cool coreography lol! thts what i think

I disagree, i think they were good considering that she's grew up and doesnt feel the need to fly around the stage doing all kinds of moves anymore.
I'm not really looking to see her like she was when she was 17, ppl need to understand she's a grown woman now.
Her coreography is more elegant but there will always still be a little bit of funky lol.
Thats just my opinion, i dont see what the problem is, we're all still gonna buy her album and watch her videos!

@Stripped3030 I really think the fault lies in two areas. The first is Britney herself, she had not been on stage like that for quite a long time, so maybe the next time aroudn her tour will be better. Second, I think whoever choreographed the tour did a terrible job, same with the costume designer, they kinda made Britney look like a bumbling fool. This video is great though, she still has it in her :)

@taliavonkaulitz But here's the thing, I'm glad she is still capable of dancing the way she used to but for everyone that saw her most recent tour she did not dance like this at all. We don't necessarily expect her to sing live but we do expect her to give us a great dance performance and for the most part she did not deliver the way most people would have liked her too. i think the reason she didn't dance like this on tour is because she was dancing in heels..but in this video she was dancing in flats.
and also..she had to keep moving around in concerts, so that everyone could see her..otherwise people would have probably complained that they couldn't see her..

its because this one routine could probably make someone exhausted..imagine a two hour show with most of your songs and having to dance from one side of the stage to the other. the circus tour has the largest set out of her other tours. she can't dance like this because she'd probably pass out in a half hour. Now I want to see her perform at an awards show. If she's only performing one song on a stage that just faces the audience and isn't a circle she doesn't have an excuse. Go Britney!!

Britney is better than most of the dancers in this video - the way she moves is effortless, the other dancers look like they're trying hard eg. 0.12, she flows so much better than the other dancers! That shows what a talent she is because the key to being a great dancer is making your dancing look easy!

It doesn't sound the same to me. They messed with her voice more with the album version. Listen to the first few lyrics on the album version, her voice is more synthesized and blended with the music. This version, you can hear what she's saying better. At least to me anyway.
