I read Origin of Species and I don't recall anything about the origin of life in it, only how life changes over time. I haven't read any of Dawkins books and I don't intend to. As far as I know, the origin of life is still very much a mystery and none of the theories on abiogenesis are very well supported. Are any of the books you listed being used to teach evolution in schools and do they assert that abiogenesis is a proven fact?
