He gained expertise, took a risk, and now provides incentive to those who like making cake to make it and sell it to those who like to eat it like he did. Again, its easy to do nothing but wait around for someone elses success and then jump on its back and eventually rob it blind (or "divy up" as you like to say) So socialism is the lazyman's politics.
