Van Jones wasn't "squashing" anyone's freedom of speech. ABC is a private corporation, so it gets to decide its own guest roster. Jones is simply using his own freedom of speech to petition ABC and inform them that his group, Color of Change, finds Breitbart's appearance on their network objectionable. ABC ended up agreeing with Jones and Color of Change and Breitbart was pulled. Don't be butthurt just because Breitbart is blacklisted. He brought this on himself after the Sherrod incident.

On the issue of "private property" and exclusive righs to videotape, I'll offer this: On private property, yes the controlling group can limit access. On a college campus, they might be able, it depends. I was sent to videotape a speaker on our campus as part of a student-produced school-sanctioned news crew, and then was told that the speaker didn't give us permission. I probably could have fought it, but I didn't give a crap.

His approval #'s are through the floor and each time he opens his mouth he loses more. Obama's only hope for a 2nd term is to move way to the right, but I doubt he will and doubt it would make any difference.

It's standard practice to not allow filming of speeches unless the person giving the speech and the university give permission. In this case, too, this is a private university -- private property. The guy filming was acting like an ass, making a scene, and deserved to get ejected.

I was shown a video in my Environmental Science class today with Van Jones talking about Climate Change and Global Warming. My college professor has a man crush on Jones. It's pathetic and disturbing to know that not one kid in my class (besides me) knows exactly who and what Van Jones is.
