  • are they telling you why its happening? have you ever heard of re-feeding syndrome and do you feel super bloated the day that this happens?

  • i actually STILL had/have intestinal problems from abusing laxatives. I know it's scary, and you tend to get mad at yourself for "letting it happen." But just remember, there's only so little control yuo actually have over EDs. Don't be so hard on yourself. You don't deserve that.

  • <3

  • don't get discourage, take one day at a time....much love to you...

  • I always said that! oh it won't happen to me. Now the yrs of my eds are catching up w/ me. The enamel is come off my teeth an i've had to get fillings. The yrs of anorexia im sure are taking its toll to.

    Get better Lauren.

  • It sucks so bad that you have to pay for the stupid ed even after you're getting on the path to recovery. They always say the first year after you recover you're at a really high risk for cardiac problems. You're in my thoughts and prayers sweetie!!!

  • OMG Lauren, thanks God you are ok. Keep on fighting sweetie.

    xoxo

  • Take things really easy. Let your heart strengthen slowly.

  • oh lauren, you show such courage throughout such adversity. i am so so proud of you and i hope you can heal, both physically and emotionally. my thoughts are with you, always xxx

  • i'm so sorry to hear that, im glad you are still with us and i hope your story helps some people out there.....happy belated birthday wishes xxx

  • omG LAUREN!!

  • I am so sorry that you are going through this. I am praying for you dear. Thank you for posting this so others know how much damage this causes to your body even when you are in your recovery. Stay strong and try to stay relaxed. *hugs*

  • I'm glad it wasn't as worse as I thought it was but either way that does sound scary. Glad you're doing better and I'll keep you in my prayers. Don't ever feel you're a bad person caz you're not!

  • I hope you start to feel better soon!!

I do say "that won't happen to me" so often and I say it because I don't think my ED behaviours are as bad as some people's, and because my ED behaviours are nowhere near as bad as they were 7 years ago. But I still engage in ED behaviours. I do wonder what it is doing to my body. I have some minor physical issues that are probably a result of both ED and other physical issues. You just don't know what your ED is doing to your body until it's too late.

  • I´m so worried about you hun! I hope you feel better soon! praying for you. love you!

    Xoxo Mette

  • Just one thought to squeeze in here-I understand that value of the electrolytes, but I keep hearing you commenting about drinking Gatorade and I'll bet the medical folks recommend it, but with it comes an insane amount of high fructose corn syrup (sugar). Insulin has to be released into the body to break it down. I see that as a risk to another heart attack. Isn't there a safer source of electrolytes than Gatorade? Wishing you all the best and stay on track :)

  • once you're actually living life agian, you're busy.

so true. i promote this in all of my videos. lauren, im a new subscriber but i've been watching your vids for a while and i've been doing vids for over a year or two and i'm part of we r freedom fighters collab channel too. hon, i am so sorry for what you've been through right now. im SO sorry. this could happen to anyone of us sufferers... my prayers are with you lauren. <3

  • Lauren,

Thanks for this video, I hope that you can continue to heal! You are so right in how scary it is, the after effects no one thinks of or thinks will never happen to me, while the disorder is surrounding you. It makes you feel invisible when in reality we are obviously not. My heart goes out to you! stay strong!!!

  • I'm sorry that your health is suffering at the moment, I am praying for you to get better. You are so honest about the effects of your disorder and I think that the internet really needs someone who spekas up as the pro ana stuff seems rife at the moment.

  • That must have been so scary, Lauren. Please take things as easy as possible and get plenty of rest. You don't need anyone to tell you that as you'll know yourself......just, please, be gentle with yourself because you are worth so much.

You're doing so well to keep up the good work you're doing in your recovery. So many of us are so proud of you.

  • Oh My Gosh Lauren... That is so beyond scary! (especially since ,as you might remember, I'm still stuck on ephedrine) I am so glad to see you OK and healthy. I pray that you stay well from this day on. Maybe it was the Universe's way of giving you a 23rd "Birthday Reminder" to stay healthy? Stupid sounding I know, but I do believe that everything happens for a reason...Good and Bad. Stay Safe Lauren. Love You. xo~a
